This 1939 Ford Deluxe Convertible is the final year for the rumble seat from the factory. And while it has a nice stock style, they also want to make sure you're ready to cruise this unique machine. So pay close attention to worthwhile upgrades like the triple-deuce carbs on the flathead V8 and the fully upgraded front suspension.
The elegantly rounded fenders and sharply-pointed front end of the '39 Ford make this design a true pre-war icon. Bright bumpers, two-piece wheel covers, a chrome grille, and teardrop headlight bezels deliver the right classic brightwork. The burgundy paint represents its era well. It has the right shine to showcase the curves in the classic sheet metal, but it has enough maturity to make sure no one accuses you of having a pure hot rod. That's important because so few people know the rumble seat lasted until 1939, and many people will assume you have a custom classic. What you really have are the important stock pieces, but the right added flair with subtle upgrades like the blue-dot tail lights and bright dual exhaust tips.
The tan canvas roof is a newer piece that looks good against the maroon paint. But we like it even more when you take it down. ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
There's added distinction from the deeper tan front seat finished in nice leather. And the details are quite nice with a working classic heater, a smooth convertible boot, and even an AM radio. You get the classic banjo-style steering wheel, stock gauges, and long shifter for a true vintage driving experience. And you can always share the time capsule experience with more people just by flipping open the rear rumble seat.
Under the hood is classic Ford flathead V8 power, but you can instantly tell this 239 cubic-inch motor is extra special. That extra-long air grabber is hiding a triple set of Stromberg dual-barrel carburetors. You'll spot more upgraded features that are useful like Offenhauser finned heads, an upgraded coil, and an Optima battery for the six-volt system. It's a strong-running package that makes a nice tune out of the glass-pack style dual exhaust. There's a classic driving feeling with pieces like the three-speed manual transmission, but they also wanted to make sure this more powerful drop-top was a better all-around cruiser. So you have an upgraded Mustang II-style independent front end, front disc brakes, and modern touring tires.
No matter if you want to lead the parade or just have a more distinctive pre-war cruiser, it's hard to beat the appeal of a rumble seat Ford. So don't let this rare one get away. Call today!!!
