ALL STEEL BODY & FENDERS, 4.3L V6 W/ 4L60E O/D TRANS, 10-BOLT REAR, FUN TRUCK!

When was the last time you saw a steel-bodied pre-war pickup that has fuel-injected power, an overdrive transmission, and air conditioning? So while this 1933 Chevrolet pickup has a vintage silhouette, it is really a very cool and modern machine cruiser you can enjoy for a drive near or far.

The modern style of this classic starts with the paint. The Bright Island Blue Metallic is a more modern color borrowed from the Ford palette. It was one of the final steps in a multi-year labor of love in the comprehensive restoration finished in 2003. Since there are only about 4,500 miles on this one since it was completed, it retains a freshness that comes from careful use and plenty of garage-kept care. The clearcoat finish does a good job of showing off the straight panels and gentle fender curves of the steel body. Even the wood tells a story. The white oak is said to have been salvaged from Hurricane Hugo, and it was repurposed and polished for the running boards, tailgate, custom tonneau, and bed floor. As a true American classic, it also makes sure to have the right brightwork charm. Some show off the vintage side with the chrome bumpers and headlight buckets. Others show off the upgraded ... Description

Others show off the upgraded nature with the 15-inch wheels, wide dual exhaust tips, and a tow hitch.

The interior keeps the classic upright cab feeling, but now it's filled with the best in modern luxury. The seats are updated high-back buckets with a center armrest and proper shoulder belts. There's some tasteful wood accenting for the steering wheel, dash insert, window surround, and the overhead console that houses the AM/FM/CD stereo. You also have a tilt steering column, cruise control, storage overhead console, and cold-blowing air conditioning. The dash is dominated by Classic Instruments gauges, and the large speedo and tach let you know there's something upgraded under the hood, too.

The engine bay has a cleanly installed 4.3 liter Vortec V6. It just seems extra cool to see 65+ years of evolution all together with a pre-war Chevy upgraded to a fuel-injected powerhouse from the Blazer/S-10 program. This was built to be a driver. That's why they also installed the Blazer's four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive, and there's also a custom radiator for better cooling. The front suspension is a well-done independent setup featuring adjustable coilovers and Camaro front discs. Add in power steering, power brakes, and modern Toyo tires, and you can just tell this classic wants to cruise.

The sale comes with plenty of paperwork including build receipts, maintenance records, service manuals, and restoration photos. Even cool extras, like the original keys come with the sale, too. It's all about providing a unique classic pickup that can go everywhere and has a story to tell when you get there. Call today!!!
