It's no surprise that after all these years people dont get tired of Chevelle SS coupes, and the fact is, these are flat-out AWESOME cars in almost every way. There's a reason they sell so quickly, and this beautiful 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle with SS badging is an excellent example of why.
The interesting thing about the GM Chevelle line is that they evolved, so each year looked a little different from the year before, but the intrinsic goodness of the car never varied. The single-headlight '71 models have a cherished look about them, and this car has all the right pieces to make it a crowd-pleaser at the next cruise night. It looks quite fresh all around, with bodywork good enough to wear the dark green paint without any excuses. And with white SS stripes this car carries a traditional, yet muscular look that we've all grown to love. The blacked-out SS grille looks fantastic and bright pieces like the bumper and fender trim add nice contrast. With a mean-looking stance and fresh 15'' rally wheels ensure that nobody mistakes this for your average grocery-getter.
The interior was done right too, complete with black vinyl buckets, a horseshoe shifter, and a center console, all the goodies ... Please ask for the full description.

The interior was done right too, complete with black vinyl buckets, a horseshoe shifter, and a center console, all the goodies you want in your heavy cruiser. Like the exterior, the interior trim is extremely well done and looks correct, from the tight-fitting seat covers, to the door panels that still look new. It shows very little wear, mostly because this GM vinyl wears like granite, but also because someone has taken care of it. A modern Sony AM/FM/CD stereo head unit lives in its own custom housing just ahead of the center console, powering aftermarket speakers throughout the interior, so it sounds awesome. All the original gauges show bright pointers and clear markings, and a column mounted tachometer has been installed to keep an eye on engine revs. Additionally, three more auxiliary gauges have been added underneath to monitor volts, water temps, and oil pressure.
Power comes from a 350 cubic inch V8. It moves the big A-body with ease and features some smart upgrades. A few dress-up pieces like the bright chrome air cleaner, and finned valve covers, help it stand out in the all-black engine bay. A 3-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear end, and power steering and power brakes help the lucky driver maintain control. The small block breathes through a dual exhaust system with glass pack mufflers to create an intimidating presence. Finally, BF Goodrich Radial T/As measuring 235/60/15 at all four corners put the power to the road.
Although there's no factory build sheet to go with this one, there's no doubt that whatever it was born as, it has all the right moves today. With all the right options and bulletproof mechanicals, this '71 Chevelle can truly be enjoyed every day. Call today!
