A well-built small block, bucket seat interior, and nice extras headline this 1972 Chevrolet Nova. So as you look at all the details, you'll discover an appealing icon offered for quite an affordable price.
Third-generation Novas are great cars. The fastback profile of the coupe instantly gave these the same kind of appeal we love in the Chevelle, and this made for a better and lighter package. That same muscle car lineage is seen on the Super Sport upgrades, like the hood louver trim, SS-style grille, and tail panel. And the competition-style American Racing Torq Thrust wheels have extra meaty rear tires for a terrific stance. So people may just call the color on this one “mean green.” It's an older respray that has a street machine attitude...but it still retains a good gloss to go with the chrome bumpers.
The black interior has a nice aggressive attitude and all the right features. After all, we all love high-back bucket seats, and those are nicely finished. And the door panels, dash, and carpeting complete a look of quality. It has an A/C compressor installed, but you will need more components to complete the system. The black interior has a nice aggressive attitude and all the right features. After all, we all love high-back bucket seats, and those are nicely finished. And the door panels, dash, and carpeting complete a look of quality. It has an A/C compressor installed, but you will need more components to complete the system. This was built to be a driver, and so you have a center console with floor shifter and quad auxiliary gauge package. And the classic dual-spoke steering wheel gives you a clear view to the large tach that was mounted front-and-center on the steering column.
Under the hood is the unmistakable look of an enhanced small block. This 305 cubic-inch V8 has been upgraded for power with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock high-rise intake, and long tube headers that feed a growling dual exhaust. It's supported by the right components, including a serpentine belt system, Mallory distributor, and Accel plug wires. There are disc brakes in the front and traction bars in the rear for a good street machine setup. Plus, there are also good anytime driving features, like a three-speed automatic transmission and power steering.
