383 STROKER V8 W/ SNIPER EFI, 3-SPEED AUTO, UPGRADED SUSPNSION, PS, PB, COLD A/C

This 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air has the right low/sporty stance to properly announce it's a restomod. And as you look at the full package, you'll see upgrades, like fuel-injected V8 power, an upgraded suspension, and a custom/comfy air-conditioned interior that makes this hardtop such a cool and unique cruiser.

This one gives off a nice first impression with the light blue paint. It has plenty of metallic element that loves to radiate in the sunshine. And the white roof goes with the white on the rear fenders to give this plenty of two-tone appeal. The wraparound chrome bumpers, toothy grille, and jet-inspired hood ornament are all shining bright. And while most 1950s machines love the shining chrome bumpers, it's the trim surrounding the glass that makes this so special. It highlights the wraparound rear window as well as the hardtop profile that was on the best Bel Airs. The overall impression is about taking well-respected classic sheet metal and trim and giving it a cool cruiser update for a driver-ready car. After all, the black steel wheels and large side exhaust tips are what you get on a car upgraded for power and fun on the road. And the intimidating rake from the lowered front ... Description

And the intimidating rake from the lowered front end is the right kind of thing that makes for an excellent street machine custom.

The interior is all about appearing vintage while upgrading the overall experience. For example, the two rows of bench seats are a great '50s style, but the classic pattern is now refinished in newer comfy cloth and vinyl. The door panels, carpeting, lower dash, and headliner all have a clean style and coordinated look of a thoughtful restoration. This has added comfort with a power front seat, AM/FM/CD stereo, power front windows, and cold-blowing air conditioning. And there's a comfortable driving position with an upgraded sports steering wheel on a tilt steering column, a movable armrest center console, and Dakota digital gauge package. Plus, there's just something extra cool about the extended lever for the B&M shifter. It has a skull that lights up when you turn the car on, and it's tall enough to be seen in traffic.

The engine bay is filled with proper V8 power. It's a 383 stroker V8 motor. It includes later Vortec heads, a GM performance air gap intake, and shorty headers. Best of all, it's topped with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system with a readout mounted on the dash. And we love the mild cam setup that unleashes more power and a nice rumble out of the X-pipe dual exhaust. The V8 is supported by the right pieces, including Ron Francis wiring, an HEI distributor, and an aluminum radiator with electric fan. The traction bars on the rear and new (2022) Mustang II-style tubular A-arm front suspension significantly upgraded the 1950s driving experience. And a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and wide BF Goodrich T/As make for an easy all-around cruiser.

Hardtops are always great classic cruisers, and this restomod has been upgraded to really maximize that feeling. So you know you don't want to miss this coupe, call today!
