VERY ORIGNAL OLDS W/ TONS OF PPRWORK, 330 ROCKET V8, PWRGLIDE AUTO, ICE-COLD A/C

You might just be looking at one of the coolest and easiest ways to get attention at the survivor shows. This 1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass is the kind of car we don't see too often anymore because they are usually tuned into 442 replicas. But instead, this is a well-documented car with a premium sense of style from its attractive paint, detailed interior, cold-blowing A/C, and exceptionally low mileage.

The factory-correct Burgundy Mist paint sets the tone well for the whole car. It shows all the right signs of being the factory application, and while some people are thinking about retirement after 55, this finish is just getting started. After all, this is on an actual miles title, and that would mean averaging under 700 miles annually. So that means less time on the road and more garage-kept care. In fact, this is a long-term one-family owned vehicle, and so much of the originality that we're told about is known from just going from uncle to niece. You'll see the right touches of age in the finish and badges so that people know you have a survivor. And the way the bumpers fit, the stainless trim shines, and the body lines look crisp, there are going to be plenty of people who wished ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

And the way the bumpers fit, the stainless trim shines, and the body lines look crisp, there are going to be plenty of people who wished they could get their car restored to the level that this one has been preserved. A hardtop like this had the kind of sporty style that launched the 442. So we understand why this highly original car would be upgraded with Torq Thrust wheels and dual exhaust tips. It gives it the touch of an era-correct muscle car style without harming the heart of this car's authenticity.

The black interior looks great against the burgundy exterior. Just like the exterior, we're hard-pressed to find any fundamentals that don't appear original. And the low mileage and good preservation make for an impressive presentation. This one is for lovers of vintage authenticity with the working AM radio, classic rubber mats, and full lighting package that greets you when the door opens. Even the trunk looks terrific with a jack and spare tire that look like they never left the factory mountings. But this car is no museum piece. It deserves to be out in the world and cruising on special days. That's why you'll love the driver-oriented setup with front bucket seats, a center console in-between, and a dual-spoke steering wheel that gives you a clear view of the full gauges. And because it's so nice to take down all the side glass on a hardtop - even in the summertime - it's great to have the classic-style aftermarket air conditioning unit still blowing cold air.

Under the hood is the 330 cubic-inch Rocket V8. It shows all signs of being original, and after all, who would have messed with a car that's already so authentic? There's plenty of overall originality, right down to the washer fluid refill bottle mounted to the fender. But you can also see that details like the valve covers and air grabber have been repainted to present well for showing. And items like the hoses and wires show this has been properly maintained for being a good cruiser. In fact, this V8 fires up eagerly and idles smoothly because it knows you want to hit the road. Add in the automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes, and you're ready to take this to the survivor show this weekend.

The sale comes complete with good documentation like the original bill of sale, original warranty card, owner's manual, reproduction buildsheet, reproduction window sticker, maintenance records, and title documentation. There's a true sense of authenticity on this Olds, right down to the dealer tag on the trunk. So the next owner isn't just a titleholder, they are truly writing the next chapter in this survivor's history. Are you ready to be a part of this story? Call today!
