Listen up big block fans! This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro certainly ranks at the top of one of the nicest and coolest Camaros we've ever had come through our showrooms. The beneficiary of a ground up rotisserie restoration, brilliant paint, powerful big block, and a comfortable cabin makes this Camaro the one to have if you're looking for a pro touring pavement bruiser to show or cruise in.
Let's start with the paint. That gorgeous hue is House of Kolor Candy Apple Red with Platinum Pearl stripes. It's absolutely stunning and looks killer under the sunlight. It's just a very pleasing color for the Camaro's straight sheetmetal. The bright work and chrome bumpers are in good condition and a nicely placed 502 V-Flag emblem between the tail lights hints to any would be challengers what rests under the hood. You can't miss the muscular cowl hood and sporty rear deck lid spoiler, accented by body matched sport mirrors. Staggered Foose wheels measure 17'' up front and 18'' in the rear to create an incredible stance!

Open the doors to a black interior featuring Procar bucket seats covered in vinyl that seem to emulate traditional Camaro stitching. A convenient center console has been installed that includes two cup holders, and doubles as an arm rest and storage bin. For the most part, things remain pretty traditional like the 4 pack console gauges, air conditioning controls for the Vintage Air system, AM/FM/Cassette player by Classic Industries with auxiliary/iPod input, power window switches, and gauge cluster; but a B&M ratchet shifter translates shifting duties to the transmission, and a stylish 3-spoke leather trimmed steering wheel mounts on a tilt column. When it's time to fuel this beast up, pop the trunk to access the aluminum fuel cell.
As you've probably already guessed, this beast is powered by a gnarly 502 cubic inch V8, bored .30 over, producing approximately 502 horsepower. It rests in an engine bay that you will be proud to show off and is cleaned up well with a polished aluminum March serpentine system. An aluminum radiator with electric fans keeps the big block cool, while it releases its burnt air/fuel mixture through a 3'' stainless exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Mated to that 502 is a 700R4 transmission that sends the massive torque to a 12 bolt Moser rear end, stuffed with 3.73 gears. A rear sway bar stiffens things up, and a mini-tub out back accommodates massive 285/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport tires, while 225/45/17s up front are aided by power steering. Keeping things under control are power four-wheel disc brakes.
This car comes with a stack of receipts, and build photos that will prove, after parts and labor, you'll far exceed our asking price if you were to replicate this build on your own. If you're a big block 1st gen Camaro fan, this '68 Camaro RS/SS is surely the one to make you grin. Call today!
