Invest in the stock market if you like, but I'd much rather park some money in this show-quality 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1. In terms of appreciation, this thoroughbred fastback offers an awesome (and correct) color combination, a Marti Report, original bill of sale, further validation of the car's pedigree from Ford Customer Relationship Center, and a stack of restoration receipts. Just try having this much fun with your stock portfolio.
Repainted just a few years ago, this gorgeous Dark Ivy Green Metallic fastback still looks almost like a million bucks. Well, maybe not a million, but these have been inching up in value pretty much every year, indicating that there are more than a few collectors out there who appreciate their good looks and brilliant performance. The finish is rendered in the correct dark green hue that has a depth the original finish just couldn't match, and the satin black stripes with '351' callouts on the hood seem to hover above the surface. The panel work is quite good, although it's not to concours standards, which is a good thing since you'll probably want to drive this one every chance you get. The rocker moldings are crisp, and the spoiler is the same satin ... Please ask for the full description.

The rocker moldings are crisp, and the spoiler is the same satin black as the stripes, giving this Mach 1 a very predatory look.
The correct Medium Ivy Green Clarion knit/Corinthian vinyl Mach 1 interior is all business, but what a business to be in! It's a fresh interior that is comfortable, accurate, and ready to show or go. Woodgrained dash panels and center console warm things up a bit, there's an AM radio with 8 track player in the center of the dash, controls for the factory air conditioning, and a full set of gauges that look good, but other than the passenger mounted clock and shiny shifter, this one is sharp. 2+2 seating provides ample space for the driver and passengers, while clean and tear-free covers dress the firm seat pads. And a wood trimmed 3-spoke steering wheel connects the driver to the road.
Ford makes it tough to determine matching numbers, but there's every reason to believe that the 351 Cleveland V8 under the hood is a period correct powerplant. Beautifully detailed and accurately restored, it wears its Ford Blue paint with pride, along with the original air cleaner and reproduction decals. That 351 is mated to an automatic transmission and sends power to the 9-inch rear end, framed by a dual exhaust system with snarling glass pack mufflers. Power steering and power brakes with discs up front make this muscular cruiser a joy to drive, while Magnum 500 wheels wear 225/60/15 BFG radials for a slightly more aggressive look.
Documented with a Marti Report and other historical documents, this quality 1970 Mach 1 delivers on the promises that its glossy green finish makes. Cars like this aren't the type of cars you want to sleep on. They get a lot of attention and usually see quick turnaround in our showroom. Call today!
