SMOOTH RUNNING 235CI INLINE 6, THREE-SPEED MANUAL, NICE METALLIC PAINT, CRUISER!

This 1954 Chevy 210 is affordable fun in the kind of vintage coupe that's disappearing from the classic car scene. So when you can find a sedan with all the right investments and care over all these decades, you know you're looking at something special.

This Chevy is rapidly approaching its 70th birthday. You cannot continue to look this good and complete unless you were given the right respect and plenty of the right investment along the way. In fact, the story we're told is that the grandson restored his grandfather's car after he passed. This labor of love started with the paint. It has a similar tone to 1954's Mariner Blue, but there is a metallic element here that lets you know it's a shining classic. Plus, the way the light rolls off it, makes for a terrific way to showcase how well the sheet metal fits and how beautifully rounded the curves of the rear fenders are. And the white roof and whitewall tires make for a stylish two-tone. All the brightwork is complete, including the wide toothy grille, full-length trim, and factory-style wheel covers. Possibly the most sought-after piece of trim is the bright hood ornament that reminds us all that this is the beginning of the jet ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

Possibly the most sought-after piece of trim is the bright hood ornament that reminds us all that this is the beginning of the jet age. All of this makes the car so distinctive today.

The dark and white continue inside, and there have been nice investments to make this feel like a time capsule. The two-tone is not only intertwined on the seats, doors, and dash, but also even places like the trunk. The options list was a lot shorter in 1954, which gives this car an uncluttered appearance of a simpler time. The steering column is uncomplicated with a big wheel to help make turning a breeze. Behind it are just two stalks: one for the turn signal and the other to shift the manual transmission. Despite this sedan's simplicity, the gauge cluster is quite informative. It has info for the fuel, water temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. And while the AM radio is there for display, there's actually an AM/FM/CD stereo w/USB input in the glovebox to give you the best in modern driving music.

Open up the hood, and the distinction of correctness continues. From within the dark engine bay and beneath the oil bath air cleaner, you see the distinct glow of a GM legend. Chevrolet only had one engine base this year to rely on for everything from the Corvette to its pickup trucks. The 235 cubic-inch six-cylinder motor provides reliable power and good torque to keep this chrome machine cruising down the road. It even has a glasspack style dual exhaust for a nice tune. For those who want to get the most out of this motor, the three-speed manual transmission is the best choice to have. Plus, there's just a real retro-cool feeling about operating the three-on-the-tree column shifter.

The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, build receipts, and restoration photos. This Chevrolet 210 is a real driver that turns heads because of its vintage elegance. It hasn't been gutted or hot-rodded. Instead, it's an honest and carefully enjoyed sedan that represents true 1950s motoring. Are you ready to write the next chapter in its history... Call today!!!
