This truck gets the job done. Big, bold, and brutal, this 1977 Ford F-150 is ready to work, play, or just take you just about anywhere you want to go, thanks to 4-wheel-drive and a big, honkin' 460 under the hood. Great looks don't hurt, either.
In the '70s, if you needed stuff hauled, no matter how big, this was how you did it. As a result, finding a truck that hasn't been bashed and worked to within an inch of its life is no easy task. Fortunately, this one seems to have led an easier life of leisure, perhaps scouting remote hunting grounds or trekking across fields to get to a private fishing spot. The two tone red and silver paint is a few years old and shows a bit of wear, but by truck standards, it's pretty nice. You'll dig the custom FORD emblem on the tailgate, as well as the heavy-duty chrome step bumper. The bodywork is straight and clean thanks to a lifetime down south, and it appears to be wearing all its original sheetmetal, so it's not like this is some wreck that was rebuilt. No, it's just a really clean heavy-duty pickup that's ready for new adventures. The chrome is still shiny, there's plenty of stainless trim, and there are useful hooks on the side of the bed for tying ... Please ask for the full description.

The chrome is still shiny, there's plenty of stainless trim, and there are useful hooks on the side of the bed for tying down bigger items. It's also got a snug-fitting tonneau cover that gives it a tidy look and keeps cargo dry and the bed underneath is in great shape with a heavy-duty rubber mat.
Clean is the theme inside, too, where a fresh seat cover for the split bench offers comfortable accommodations for three. The red carpet on the floor works rather well with the exterior paint job and dresses up the Ford's heavy-duty interior. The instrument panel offers factory dials and a set of auxiliary gauges neatly installed just underneath, as well as the familiar column-mounted tachometer. The original steering wheel is showing its age and might be the only notable demerit in the interior, because everything else is pretty darned nice. You're also going to dig the AM/FM/cassette stereo that sounds great as well as fully functional factory A/C. And no pickup truck is complete without a sliding rear window, which provides draft-free ventilation that's great for days when it's not quite warm enough for the A/C.
This is a big truck, but fortunately, there's a big V8 to move it around. The 460 runs super strong and all the important parts are in great shape. That's the original air cleaner up top, with Ford Motorsport valve covers to dress it up a bit. Edelbrock supplied both the 4-barrel carburetor and with a recent tune-up, it starts easily and runs well. The rumble from the long-tube headers and 2.5-inch dual exhaust system sounding more like a vintage muscle car than a big pickup. The C6 3-speed automatic transmission shifts well and the 4-wheel-drive system engages without any drama, so it's always ready to rock. The chassis is heavy-duty enough to go just about anywhere, and with manual locking hubs, you don't have to worry about fragile parts getting broken at the least opportune moment. 15-inch American Racing alloys wear big 33x12.50-15 General all-terrain tires that were installed not too long ago.
This truck is definitely up for whatever you're looking to do, and thanks to the heavy-duty hardware, you'll never have to worry about getting stuck. Call today!
