With solid V8 power, nice interior upgrades, and a distinct finish, this 1968 Pontiac Firebird is quite a striking total package classic.
The upgrade to Slate Blue looks great on this classic. It's the right kind of deep color that gives it some mean attitude, and at the same time, the modern gloss likes to radiate in the sunshine for an all-around kind of attraction. Clean lines, good gaps, newer headlights, and brilliant chrome/brightwork really bring together an appealing package. And speaking of chrome, these early cars launched the legend with an outstanding style with the chrome bumper dominating the front end. But your favorite polished piece might just be the wheels. They have a modern 17-inch size to fit better modern tires, and the larger rear set gives you an awesome stance.
The black interior goes well with the dark blue exterior, and there are plenty of upgrades for both performance and comfort. The front bucket seats are Procar-style units that offer better bolstering than you could ever get in the 1960s. The front bucket seats are Procar-style units that offer better bolstering than you could ever get in the 1960s. And all the other fundamentals including carpeting, and dash have a clean and complete presentation. It has the right cruiser upgrades, too, such as a JVC AM/FM/CD stereo w/Aux input and Pioneer speakers. Plus, a Lokar floor shifter, auxiliary readouts, and a custom sports steering wheel on a tilt column all make for a proper driver's car.
Under the hood is a Pontiac's 350 cubic inch V8. The motor looks good with the distinct Pontiac turquoise block and plenty of polished components. This V8 inhales deeply with a Demon four-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and it exhales with a sweet rumble out of the dual exhaust. And the BeCool radiator w/ electric fan helps keep this full package running cool. This even has the right features you want for an all-around solid driver like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, rear traction bars, and modern grippy ZR-rated tires.
This coupe has bold looks and upgrades that love to hit the road. It makes for the kind of icon that you can enjoy to the fullest. Call today!!!
