SHARP, 350 CID V8 300 HP, 4 SPEED, A/C, PS, PB, NICE PAINT AND A GREAT DRIVER!
The Oldsmobile Cutlass has long been a favorite among the GM A body cars. When you have a look at this numbers matching 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible, it's easy to see why. It has a broad body with smooth lines that emphasize the dignified muscular presence that makes these cars so popular.
The smooth blue paint covering the straight fenders of this car, although not factory correct, looks very good. That blue is highlighted by blue wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/As. The front of the car features the distinctive split grill that is centered by great looking quad head lights. Below those lights and grill is a big chrome bumper that shines bright, and ut back, the large chrome bumper actually houses the taillights, probably one of the coolest features of this car. Being a convertible, the white, power top lifts with ease and snaps down tightly showing no tears and a few typical wrinkles. With the top up or down, this car has an incredible look that will illicit stares everywhere.
Inside is the correct white and black vinyl interior that complements the blue exterior very well. The front bucket seats, rear bench seats, and door panels are covered in white vinyl with stylish stitching sitting on a black carpet for a great two-tone look. Those seats face a black dash, while the front buckets flank a convenient center console. That black dash features elegant wood appliqué, and houses factory instrumentation with an aftermarket tachometer mounted on top of the steering column. Two auxiliary gauges measuring water temperature and oil pressure are mounted beneath the dash. Also housed in the dash in an AM/FM radio, a vintage 8 track player, a switch for the convertible top, and switches to run the air conditioning, heat and defrost.
Powering this blue cruiser is a numbers matching, Oldsmobile Rocket 350 cubic inch V8, that is good for over 300 horsepower. Everything appears stock in the engine bay, and what a clean bay it is! That torque is fed to a 4 speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels, while exhaust gasses exit a throaty dual exhaust system. Helping maintain that small block power is power steering and power brakes, with 205/70/14 BF Goodrich Radial T/As putting the power to the asphalt. All of the hardware underneath is solid, and this car is meant to be driven and enjoyed.
Numbers matching, a beautiful blue paint job, a great sounding V8 with a manual transmission, a convertible top, and even air conditioning...this car is already getting a lot of attention and we can see why. This car is for the enthusiast that wants a Cutlass that they can enjoy with looks close to investment grade level. Call today!
