REAL DEAL GS455, PAINTED UP LIKE A GSX, PERIOD CORRECT 455, NICELY RESTORED, WOW

The 1970 Buick GS 455 is the ultimate dream muscle car for many of us because it has been built to be an awesome-looking GSX tribute. It is a sharp-looking car with serious big block power and plenty of luxury, too. So it's the one coupe for those who love to drive, show, and all-around enjoy classic car ownership.

A real-deal GS 455 has a ton of appeal. There were only about 8,000 examples made in 1970, and over half a century later, a good one makes for a rare sight. But Buick also introduced the GSX in 1970, and with only 678 produced, they are nearly unobtainable. So we can understand why there would be a big investment converting an already rare GS 455 into a GSX. But if you're going to work at this high level of desirability, you need to do it right. It starts with a high-quality application of Saturn Yellow. It's a radiant color that gets an even bigger dose of shine thanks to the modern clearcoat application. The full stripe package looks awesome with the dual racing stripes on the hood, and the sharply-pointed side stripes that wrap over the rear spoiler. And it's all outlined with a sporty red pinstripe. Plus, the dual scoops in the hood, Buick Rallye wheels, sport ... Please ask for the full description.

Plus, the dual scoops in the hood, Buick Rallye wheels, sport mirrors, and proper GSX badging all make for the right muscle car flair. This also reminds you it's a premium Buick in the details, like the crisply defined sheet metal and the chrome king bumpers that hug the car's form. It all makes for an impressive total package that will get you a prime spot at plenty of car shows.

The pillarless hardtop profile lets everyone get a clear view of the stylish black interior. It was fully redone during this car's restoration/transformation, so everything feels fresh and comfortable. You'll love it, right down to the details, including the smooth wood-like trim. Not only does that have a cool vintage premium vibe, but so do the details. You still have the stock Delco AM/FM radio there for a display, and the factory air conditioning now runs on modern R134a refrigerant (it likely will need a recharge.) The GSX is a driver's car, and so this one gives you all the best features, like high-back front bucket seats, a center console in-between, a floor shifter, round gauges, and X2 Rallye steering wheel. Looking for the tach? It's on the hood for a true classic head-up display.

Under the hood is the bright red block of Buick's mighty 455 cubic-inch V8. It's a show-worthy presentation, right down to the correct decals. And this year-correct block is even believed to be original to the car. The mighty V8 has some great vintage performance pieces like the Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor and Stage 1 intake that allows this to breathe in fresh air from the hood scoops. While the top of the engine bay has the look of a bone stock car on day one, the undercarriage photos will show you that they also added long tube headers and an X-pipe dual exhaust. So it's a great mix of classic style with better breathing. Out on the road, this hardtop is not only powerful, but it also earns its easy cruising reputation thanks to features like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, and sway bars front & rear.

Rarity, beauty, luxury, and all-out power... this GSX tribute convertible has it all. So the only thing that's missing now is you. Call today!!!
