SUPER CLEAN, BELIEVED TO BE ORIGINAL 327 CID, 4 SPEED, PS, PB, VERY NICE!!!
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle is one of those rare cars that just keeps getting better and better the more that you look at it. Restored to stock specs and packing what we believe to be the original 327 cubic inch V8, it's a great example of the cars that everyone drove back in the '60s. Not over-dressed, not faked, just a clean, honest, and exquisitely restored A-body.
That's correct code H, Mountain Green on the slick Chevelle's sheetmetal, and the subtle color does wonders for the car's look. Looking beyond the gloss however, you'll also find some extremely good bodywork, with surfaces so flat and smooth that they reflect like mirrors. Good gaps, excellent fit and finish, and a professional cut and buff on the final finish, give it a show-car-grade sparkle, which only becomes fully apparent when you park this car next to others at a show. It just stands out and the quality is visible in every single detail. The paint is modern urethane, so it's far nicer than anything you could get in the 1960s, but they wisely resisted the urge to add modern accessories or stripes and instead took it back to stock specs, reminding us that most Chevelles were just like this back in the day. Beautiful chrome, lots of new stainless trim, and correct Malibu and Chevelle emblems, all make this car look showroom fresh.
The wonderful black brocade and vinyl upholstery, bench seats and all, makes the interior a trip back in time. You know we love the industrial-strength look of a 4-speed in a bench seat car, and once again it suggests that this car was purchased by someone with a plan. It is as beautifully restored inside as out, with new materials and components everywhere you look, from the nice-looking steering wheel to the bright, crisp markings on the speedometer. Aside from the Hurst shifter with cue ball knob, it's quite stock inside, and even the Hurst was a popular accessory that probably was in the car before it was a few days old. A factory AM radio is in the dash, the woodgrained appliques warm up the interior, and the seat belts were re-webbed so they look great and remain safe and sturdy. The trunk is correctly finished with spatter paint and a reproduction mat, as well as a spare tire with matching cover.
The 327 cubic inch L30 V8 makes a robust 275 horsepower using a single 4-barrel carburetor, yet it's docile enough to drive every day. Restored and running extremely well, this bright Chevy Orange V8 makes the nicely detailed engine bay look complete, including the reproduction decals on the factory air cleaner. Correct hose clamps, a new power brake booster, and even a glass bottle of washer solvent on the inner fender make this Chevelle look quite authentic. Backed by the aforementioned Saginaw 4-speed manual and 3.31 gears in the 10-bolt rear end, it's a lively performer on the street without the weight of a big block over the nose. The underside of the car was cleaned up and detailed, and includes a new exhaust system, fresh gas tank, and lots of little details that add up to a very authentic Chevelle. Factory Rally wheels and F70-14 redline tires complete the pure 1967 look.
Extremely well-restored and a great example of doing it right, this awesome Chevelle is one of the nicest we've ever featured. Call today!
