292 V8, 3 SPEED, VERY CLEAN AND NICE PAINT AND INTERIOR!

Who doesn't love a 50's era classic from one of the Big Three? It comes as no surprise that when we get cars like this 1955 Ford Crown Victoria into our showroom, it's not too long before a lucky new owner comes in, signs the paperwork, and is off in their new pride and joy. This Crown Vic is a great representation of Detroit metal and we don't expect this one to last long either!

The feature that makes these Crown Victorias so cool is the bright work that is sculpted throughout the lines of the body, and crowning the solid top. The trim on this '55 is in good condition and the big chrome bumpers at the front and rear appear to be like new. The correct, Raven Black and Snowshoe White color combination is another appealing feature of this car. Not only does it have that classy tuxedo presence, but it's a fresh paint job that looks great. The paint lays on the smooth panels nicely and produces a vibrant gloss under our showroom lights. Tied together with the massive amount of trim and chrome bumpers, one must think, "They don't make'em like this anymore..."

Inside, the elegant look continues with a white vinyl and black cloth interior. The split bench seat up front is firm to the touch and ... Please ask for the full description.

The split bench seat up front is firm to the touch and appears to be in excellent shape. The same can be said with the rear bench as well. The black and white dash is smooth and solid, it hasn't been modified so the era is still represented well in this cabin. There is heat, defrost and an AM radio to accommodate heating and entertainment for the driver and passengers. The door panels look fresh and all of the window cranks and door handles are fully operational. Finally, the large diameter, chrome trimmed steering wheel makes turning this big car a breeze.

Under the hood is a 292 cubic inch V8 that immediately fires to life. The engine and 3-speed automatic transmission are original to the car, but minor components like spark plug wires and a battery have obviously been replaced to keep things running reliably. The undercarriage appears solid and sturdy. All the hardware looks to be in great shape and drum brakes at all four corners help this Crown Victoria stop smoothly. The only noticeable difference is the dual exhaust system that breathes through glasspack mufflers, creating an exhaust note that makes this car even more fun to drive!

This 1955 Ford Crown Victoria is a reminder of an era when Detroit was booming and middle class families were prospering. It was a time of drive-ins, doo-wop music and innocent fun. Let this handsome Crown Victoria take you back in time and put a smile on your face before someone else gets to it first. Call today!
