STEEL BODY, CHOPPED TOP, SMALL BLOCK CHEVY, TH400 TRANS, PETE & JAKES FRAME

This 1930 Ford Model A hot rod looks the part of a sharp and fresh custom build. And when you see the sleekness of the steel body and all the Pete & Jakes components, you start to understand the difference when someone takes the extra time and investment in quality.

The more you look at this, the more you understand how thoughtful the build really is. For example, a classic hot rod would often just be finished primer, and so the gray color pays tribute to that. But this is not some easy rattle-can spray. You're looking at a Cement Gray Metallic borrowed from the modern Toyota palette. It was applied only about a year ago, and you're likely going to win awards for just its smooth presentation alone. The whole build was a multi-year labor, and so they took the time to make sure the body was excellent before the first drop of paint went on top. Of course, you can see they did a lot of work on this steel. There were about three inches chopped out of the roofline, and the frame was channeled over the body. So you get a true hot rod stance. A back vinyl roof, black grille, black windshield surround, black headlight assemblies, and black steel wheels make for a well-coordinated dark ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

A back vinyl roof, black grille, black windshield surround, black headlight assemblies, and black steel wheels make for a well-coordinated dark side. And so you know this one is clean and mean even before you hear the motor growl.

There's an elegance in the simplicity of a hot rod interior when it's done right. It's in the stitching of the seats and the way an old ammo box is used for a center console. There's not much to it, but it sets the tone right for a driver's atmosphere. And that's why this also has upgrades like a sports steering wheel, Lokar floor shifter, three-speed automatic transmission, and Dolphin gauges.

They spent a ton of time and money making sure the motor was ready to be on display for the world to see. There's only about 5k miles on the motor, and so the presentation is fresh, clean, and bright. Hoses and wires are neatly tucked in where they can so that you get a clear view of the 305 cubic-inch V8. Attention to classic details means finned valve covers, an Offenhauser intake, and a big air grabber feeding the Holley four-barrel carburetor. And of course, the polished lake-style headers have an awesome look and are baffled correctly for a terrific sound. You'll love putting a mirror under this one at car shows. It's not only because the gloss black goes so well with the car's look, but also because of the quality of the components. You have a full Pete & Jakes frame with their drop axle front end and ladder bar rear.

It takes a lot of time, money, and planning to get a coordinated build like this. So if you want to skip all the headaches and go straight to the admiration, call today!
