NUT & BOLT RESTORATION, RESTORED BY SPECIALTY JEEPS, INCREDIBLE QUALITY, WOW!

This 1952 Willys M38A1 has less than 10 miles on it since its full frame-off restoration. It was meticulous work right down to the details - like the shovel mounted under the hood. So if you want an authentic military 4x4 icon that's also ready for concours lawns, you need to know this Jeep.

The M38A1 is one of the coolest Jeeps around, and this was its debut year. It has the face and rounded fender look that reminds us of the CJ5, except we also all know this one was built to be a tougher and more robust machine made for service. So while there is no need to improve on an icon, it does take a careful eye and professional hand to get an example that looks day-one duty-ready. That's why this example had full nut and bolt restoration done by the masters at Specialty Jeeps. The work was completed in December 2020, and all the zeros on the odometer tell the story of how fresh this one is. The army green paint has the right matte finish, but it's so smooth to the touch to give that instant sense of something premium. The army decals go well-beyond the classic stares and delivers a fully labeled package. It has all the details you love, like the backout fender lights, front tow hooks, a ...

It has all the details you love, like the backout fender lights, front tow hooks, a side-mounted ax, and new classic-style Firestone military tires. And in the back you have the Jerry can, full size spare, and pintle hook hitch. In total, you have a great authentic classic attitude that looks far fresher than anything else from the 1950s.

A true military Jeeps is all about a sturdy no-frills attitude where even the General didn't get a coddled seat. And so this one makes sure it keeps the bare-bone style that stays faithful to the original. But there's also no denying that there has been a solid investment here. Bright bolts, crisp gauges, fresh seat canvas, and an overall spotless presentation doesn't take away from the ruggedness, and yet, you also know this one has yet to spend a full day living outside. Everything here is correct and accurate - from the grip of the thin steering wheel to the brass plates on the dash that make sure you know how to work the Jeep's three-lever 4x4 system.

You'll love lifting the hood wherever you park this Jeep. After all, the inner hood has more of the full decal package and the ultra-cool shovel mount. Plus, you may never find another Jeep powerhouse this pristinely presented ever again. You'll love this for more than just the award-worthy presentation, because the M38A1 is also a better driver. It starts with the 134 cubic-inch inline-four. This is the Hurricane motor, which means it's related to the Go-Devil engines that helped win the war, but with a revised head and setup that made a hardy leap in power and torque. And the big restoration investment means you have a powerhouse that starts, idles, and runs quite nicely. The M38A1 struck the right balance where it had a longer wheelbase and better ride than its predecessors, but the frame was more robust than the CJs that were in production at the time. And you take firm control on or off road with the three-speed manual transmission.

Complete with restoration photos, this is an awesome icon done to museum-quality standards. So if you want the best way to represent a true American hero, call today!
