And if you look at those pipes in the undercarriage photos, you'll also notice cutouts for those times when you really want to bring the thunder. This mighty V8 is mated to a three-speed automatic transmission that is said to have been installed around the same time as the new motor. So while those drag radials in the rear remind you of the kind of power his Malibu brings to the pavement, this is also a solid all-around built.
