For those fans of the '57 Chevy we have many to choose from, and if your tastes run to traditional looks and small-block Chevy power, this Bel Air hardtop would be a very sensible choice. The ivory-over-bronze color combination looks right on the 1950s sheetmetal, while an upgraded interior and powerful drivetrain make it a fine place to spend your free time.
The current bronze paint on this Bel Air looks very much like the original Sierra Gold that was available in 1957, and when combined with the slightly off-white top, it has a traditional look. However, given that bronze has recently become a hot color, it's suddenly back in fashion, making it easy for folks to think this is a more radical custom than it actually is. Fortunately, both can live in the same sheetmetal skin, because this Chevy gets everything right. The bodywork is straight and nicely done. Nothing was deleted or shaved during the build, so all the wonderful details are still there, including the hood bullets, gold-anodized V on the hood and deck lid (signifying a V8 under the hood), and, of course, the Bel Air quarter panel inserts that practically define the car. The chrome is in excellent condition, which is good ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
The chrome is in excellent condition, which is good news, and all the stainless trim was polished when the car was restored and remains in first-rate shape.
The interior retains a '50s vibe while upgrading the materials and creature comforts. That's the factory bench seat and it's wrapped in period-looking pleated upholstery that matches the bodywork. The '57 door panels were miniature works of art and look awesome rendered in two-tone vinyl, while the carpets are the correct weave so they feel right in the vintage Chevy. The center armrest with integrated cup holders is easily removed, but I suspect you'll find it too comfortable and convenient to let it go. The original gauges look right behind the big restored steering wheel, while white-faced auxiliary gauges and A/C vents have been discreetly installed under the dash. An AM/FM/cassette stereo with matching chrome knobs looks inconspicuous in the center of the dash and color-matched floor mats are a very professional touch. The trunk was carpeted to match and includes custom side panels and a matching full-sized spare.
Thanks to the wonders of the small-block Chevy V8, the 327 cubic inch mill nestled between the fenders fits like the factory intended. Rebuilt a few years ago, it has a nice, wide power band and a snappy personality that gives this vintage Bel Air the reflexes of a much younger vehicle. Edelbrock supplied both the dress-up kit and the intake manifold and carburetor, and with a big aluminum radiator up front, you don't need to worry about getting stuck in traffic. A new chrome master cylinder feeds the front disc brakes, which are a welcome safety upgrade. With a TH350 3-speed automatic behind it and 3.55 gears out back, it has the right combination of around-town punch and easy highway manners, and with a mellow-sounding exhaust, you can enjoy the ride. Perhaps the most noticeable modification are the Corvette-spec Rally wheels, which wear modern 225/70/15 BFGoodrich T/A radials all around.
No, it's not radical or flashy, but this handsome '57 Bel Air delivers where it matters and will never go out of style. Call today!
