An aluminum radiator doesn't seem to mind the big V8's output and while it's mostly function over form, the engine bay offers good service access and no surprises. A pair of headers feed a burbling dual exhaust system that sounds just about right and thanks to a 700R4 4-spped automatic overdrive transmission and a modern front suspension, this panel truck is as easy to drive as a minivan. Out back, there's a familiar 10-bolt rear end hanging on leaf springs, so carrying capacity is unaffected, and the shiny billet wheels help with the eye-catching look.
