There can't be many better ways to get attention for a business than with a vintage panel delivery, and this 1953 Chevrolet Panel Delivery already has all the upgrades you need to make it a functional part of your business fleet. Fuel injected, air conditioned, and nicely finished, it's bound to attract a lot of attention everywhere it goes.
The white over yellow color combination is certainly eye-catching, and there's a lot of pearl in the white finish so it practically glows in the sunlight. The whole car was refinished in 2008 and has been used for, obviously, promotions, but it still has a ton of presence. Fortunately, the lettering on the sides of the cargo bay are decals, so you can peel them off and add your own quite easily. Bodywork is in good order, perfect for a car that you might want to actually use in the real world but not so nice that you'll worry about it every time you step away, and it's got period accessories like the windshield visor and headlight visors to make it look suitably vintage. There's plenty of chrome on the '53s, including a big, toothy grille and lovely heavy-duty bumpers, and all of it was refinished with the rest of the car and looks great today. The ...
The original taillights were smoked to give it a bit of a custom look and the rear window is tinted to protect your cargo from prying eyes.
The interior is luxurious compared to the original specifications, starting with a modern bench seat out of a late-model. With comfortable cloth upholstery and a center arm rest, it's a lot more inviting than the original vinyl and 3-point seat belts have been added for safety. There's also a tilt steering column, a custom billet steering wheel, and modern gauges from Auto Meter that fit neatly in the original instrument panel. More luxurious touches include cold A/C and full carpets, so this is a car you can travel long distances in without feeling tired at the end of the day. Even the cargo bay is neatly dressed, with matching gray velour upholstery on the side walls and plus carpets on the floor, which helps control noise and heat and doesn't get your stuff all dirty. This is a very easy vehicle to love, because it's both attractive and practical.
The engine is a 350 cubic inch V8 from a Buick Roadmaster. As a relative of the LT1 found in the Corvette, performance is lively and it's impeccably smooth out on the road. A big intake assembly has an OEM look and it's been dressed up with chrome valve covers and the block was painted to match the bodywork. An aluminum radiator doesn't seem to mind the big V8's output and while it's mostly function over form, the engine bay offers good service access and no surprises. A pair of headers feed a burbling dual exhaust system that sounds just about right and thanks to a 700R4 4-spped automatic overdrive transmission and a modern front suspension, this panel truck is as easy to drive as a minivan. Out back, there's a familiar 10-bolt rear end hanging on leaf springs, so carrying capacity is unaffected, and the shiny billet wheels help with the eye-catching look.
Astoundingly affordable and still ready to work, this handsome Chevy panel delivery might just be the missing part of your business's marketing program. Call today!
