This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette was born with the ultra-hot L76 small block, and the numbers-matching motor is still under the hood today. Plus, it has desirable features like a close-ratio four-speed and two tops. So this makes for a classic that has both history and the features you really love in a C2 drop-top.
The Sting Ray is a legend on wheels. They used crisp lines to accent everything from the big fenders to the rear deck. This has all the correct pieces you'll love, like the factory-style wheel covers, dual exhaust tips coming out the rear valance, and bright two-piece chrome bumpers front & rear. Plus the car has a cool secret. Sure, red Corvette have appeal, but this one was actually born Glen Green. It's a rarity only offered in 1965. So any time you're ready for a paint upgrade, this one really gives you some interesting options. And speaking of options, you not only get a black folding soft top, but the sale also has a color-mated hardtop for an attractive coupe-like profile whenever you want.

Black interiors always look good in red convertibles. Plus, this one has some nice extras, including an upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo in the glovebox, and the seats were recovered using leather. The shifter is even now a Hurst unit. It all goes to making a better driving classic without taking away from the vintage Sting Ray feeling. After all, there's a special tingle that happens when you grab the wood-rimmed steering wheel and watch the full gauge package do its dance as you motor down the highway.
This was born a L76 car. It's the solid lifter motor that gave you the best power in a 327 cubic-inch small block without having to upgrade to fuel injection. It was a great option when new, and so it's great to have the numbers-matching motor still under the hood today. It even has the correct Winters intake and Holley four-barrel carburetor. So it's a package that knows how to get your enthusiast heart pumping just but the sound of the more aggressive idle. And you get full control over the performance with the numbers-matching Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. Plus, you have power steering, a fully independent suspension, and this was the first year the Corvette got four-wheel disc brakes.
