This 1969 Chevrolet Malibu Chevelle was built to be better at show and go. After all, we all love the look of these hardtops in a glossy black, but this one also has a powerful crate V8, a terrific sound, and an overdrive transmission to really make it a desirable total package.
These Chevelles are an icon. The wide grille with quad headlights, pillarless hardtop profile, and a fastback style rear all come together to make one of the most sought-after classics around. This one gets even more desirable because it was upgraded to a nice-looking black. The finish has a few years on it, but it retains the kind of gloss that tells you this was a quality application that has been treated with care. The high contrast white dual racing stripes on top give this one a touch of SS-style flair. The lowered stance from CPP drop spindles continues this sporty attitude. And as you look over the rest of this coupe, you'll find that it earns this performance feeling.
The black interior was also an upgrade later in life, and so you have a clean look and the ultra-desirable blackout style. There are two wide rows of bench seats, and they look complete right down to the button-top seatbacks. So you ... Please ask for the full description.

So you can easily share this one with family and friends. There are the right upgrades for the kind of car you want to drive. The Grant sports steering wheel feels grippy in your hands, the auxiliary gauge trio keeps you fully informed, and the AM/FM/CD stereo with 6x9 speakers give you better driving music.
Under the hood is a pretty hot small block. It's a 350 cubic-inch crate V8. These are known for being powerful right out of the box, and this one inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with added authority and power as Hedman long tube headers feed the dual exhaust. And a nice set of Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers make sure you've got a high-octane tune. So you've got the kind of power and rumble you'd get from a big block car in a lighter small block package. You even have strong SS-style upgrades, like the boxed rear trailing arms (with Edelbrock adjustable uppers) and a rear sway bar. There's also an Eaton Positraction rear end with 3.73 Richmond gears. This has nice anytime driving features power steering, power brakes, and upgraded CPP front discs. Plus, the upgrade to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive makes this nice to drive near or far.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, service manuals, and build receipts. This is a well-done and powerful Chevelle that was built to be enjoyed. So if you love driving your icons, call today!
