Description

302 V8, 4 SPEED, HURST RAM ROD INLINE SHIFTER, POWER STEERING, GREAT COLORS!

The 1969 Ford Mustang is arguably the best year for the first-generation fastbacks. So when the intimidating looks also get an upgrade V8, four-on-the-floor, sleek paint, and other speedy-style upgrades, you're looking at a terrific total package.

The Candy Apple Red paint gets this car noticed. It's an upgrade later in life that give it quite a nice shine today. Plus, it makes for a good backdrop for the dark side performance pieces, like the deep chin spoiler, blackout grille, Cobra Jet-style hood scoop, rear window louvers, and full-width adjustable rear spoiler. It gets even meaner thanks to other details, like the hood pins, side scoops, and dual exhaust tips. This one even like to show off a bit in the brightwork with a mirror-like shine on major components like the bumpers and upgraded AWC 15-inch wheels. The total look is a clean and mean Mustang.

The color theme switches inside where now the deep black dominates, and you get hints of red in places like the floor mats. While this is a performance-oriented setup, it's also quite inviting. The seats, door panels, dash, and all the other major places have been invested in to keep it looking and feeling quite good. There's even an upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo. This is truly setup for the driver with a nice wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, and the tach and vacuum readouts are mounted on top of the dash to keep them at eye-level. Plus, the Hurst Ram Rod 4-speed inline V-gate shifter is a rarely-seen but terrific way to enjoy vintage performance.

Ford's 302 cubic-inch V8 is one of the hardiest powerhouses around that loves upgrades. So when you open the hood, you can see they gave this one some of the best. It includes an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Torker II intake, MSD ignition, Accel Super coil, and long tube headers that add power while adding to the rumble of the H-pipe dual exhaust. Best of all, you are in complete control of the sound and fury of this enhanced powerplant thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. And the reinforced rear end feels like its running shorter gears for quick take-offs. Add in power steering, traction bars, and wide Kelly Charger tires, and this is the fastback pony that knows how to handle its power.

This Mustang has a slick and speedy look, and it also has the V8 muscle to back it all up. That makes for an irresistible package you need to get your hand on right now. Call today!!!
