302 V8 W/ GO-FAST GOODS, 3-SPEED AUTO, PWR BRKS/STEER, FRONT DISCS, SLICK WILLYS

Willys would make a few attempts at taking on the big guys from Detroit, and this 1954 Willys Aero Lark is one of those few products. But you're going to love this for more than just rarity. It's a fully upgraded package with distinct paint, a comfy interior, upgraded chassis, and proper V8 power. It means this rarely-seen two-door sedan is the kind of cruiser that can be taken a lot more places.

This has a clean look with well-fitting panels, shining chrome, good glass, and a unique hint of tailfin perfect for a 1950s machine. So if it's so attractive, why don't you see the Aero Larks around? Because they were made in nearly exotic car numbers. There were less than 11,000 Willys cars in total, and of those, only about 1,500 were Aero Lark two-doors. Basically, Chevrolet averaged more vehicles in a half-day shift than Willys made Aero Lark two-doors all year in 1954! So this is some rare metal to find nearly 70 years later. And just like the pre-war Willys coupes that beg to be turned into street machines, this one follows suit, too. This is covered in a metallic green that has an emerald-like glow. On top of it is a neon green pinstriping on all sides, and there's even added ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

On top of it is a neon green pinstriping on all sides, and there's even added orange to draw added emphasis to the emblems front and rear. And if you look closely as the two-piece wheel trim, you can see that there's a pretty wide rear set that makes for the right hint of an aggressive stance.

While the exterior wants to give you a hint of custom street machine style, the interior has been made into a custom that emphasizes comfort. You notice that immediately with the plush velour on the seats. And the door panels and dash insert were done to match, too. Plus, with the exterior green on the metal of the door panels and dash, it just feels like a thoughtful total package. There's even an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input for the best in modern driving music. And speaking of driving, the banjo-style sports steering wheel, polished tilt column, Lokar floor shifter, and updated VDO gauges make for a cool classic that wants to hit the road.

Another great trait of a Willys is how they can easily accept V8 power. This one loves to show it off with a touch of added flair where the gold-painted block goes with valve covers, and the whole color theme coordinates with the custom metallic green inner walls. This is a 302 cubic-inch V8 with a flat tappet cam, and it's well-built with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Pro Comp intake, and shorty headers feeding the dual exhaust. The three-speed automatic transmission has a 3500 stall to keep you in the ideal powerband, and there are traction bars on the rear to keep the Mickey Thompson rear tires planted. And features like the upgraded S10 chassis, aluminum radiator, power steering, power brakes, and front discs also make this a confident cruiser.

This Willys has appeal and distinction that go well beyond its rarity. That's what makes it so irresistible. Call today!!!
