It' incredibly rare to find a Mustang coupe restored to the level of this 1969 example. In addition to the classic Candy Apple Red paint job, there's also a smooth-running 351 under the hood that makes it a fantastic driver and a gorgeous all-new black bucket seat interior.
Bright red Mustangs never go out of style, and for a lot of folks, this is the vintage look that they see in their mind's eye when they think of Ford's pony car. Bodywork is superb, with impressively smooth flanks, great panel gaps, and a finish that you'll wax every week just so you can feel how smooth it is. The bright red paint accents the long hood/short deck coupe body, but doesn't allow you to hide bad panel alignment, and this one is dead-on. There's a little bit of a rake to the body as well, thanks to a subtle lowering job, and as I said, this one has a bit of an attitude. Some of that attitude is surely due to the chin spoiler borrowed from a Mach 1, as well as the faux hood scoop that give the low-profile coupe a high-performance look.
The code 2A black bucket seat interior is an awesome choice, and it is indeed as this car was originally built. Beautifully restored to new condition, the buckets are firm and ... Please ask for the full description.

The code 2A black bucket seat interior is an awesome choice, and it is indeed as this car was originally built. Beautifully restored to new condition, the buckets are firm and supportive, the upholstery duplicates the original patterns, and there's zero wear since the work was completed. Options include factory air conditioning but precious little else, so at least someone had their priorities straight when filling out the order form. All the original gauges are fully functional, as is the AM radio that rounds out the back-to-basics vibe. There's no console, just the shifter sticking out of the transmission tunnel, which adds to the no-frills look. The trunk is finished with a correct mat, as well as a full-sized spare.
In the quest for more torque, the 351 was a popular option with Mustang fans. With just 200 miles since the rebuild, it runs like new with easy starting and a wonderful burble from the twin tailpipes. Finished in Ford blue, the engine sits there like a sapphire on black velvet, with sharp detailing throughout the engine bay. Upgrades here include R134a refrigerant in the A/C system and a set of Flowmaster mufflers, but for the most part they stuck to the script when doing the restoration. Underneath, a FMX 3-speed automatic still spins the original 9-inch rear, which is packed with 3.00 gears, so this Mustang is a pleasure on the highway. Slightly oversized 235/60/14 BFGoodrich T/A radials have been fitted to GT wheels, a look that compliments the other exterior modifications.
This Mustang manages to be both aggressive and elegant, and with a pack of restoration receipts and a photo album, you can buy with confidence. Call today!
