SMOOTH 212CI, MANUAL TRANS, RARE AND HARD TO COME BY 40'S HUDSON PICKUP, COOL!

This 1947 Hudson Pickup is pure two-tone distinction. After all, the sedan-like pickup is a true rarity for the 1940s, and this is from a brand you already rarely see at the cars shows. So check out everything from the whitewalls to the wood bed, and soon you see how absolutely charming this value-priced vintage pickup is.

This seems to have the ideal look for a pickup. It was said to have been restored over two decades ago, and so you have crisp lines, full brightwork, and well-done sheetmetal. The two-tone Quaker Gray and Gunmetal Gray has the right amount of worn-in style that retains gloss, but also no one will ever accuse you of having a trailer queen truck. These are a pre-war design, and Hudson even called them Big Boys because they knew how to build them strong on a proper robust chassis. In fact, the wood bed looks highly authentic and the glossy side rails really drive home this ready-to-work attitude. But you don't just want this for a workhorse. This is an amazing classic with the same tall hood, rounded fenders, and distinct grille of the Super Six sedan line. So while it's a real truck, the classic cruiser bright wheel covers and whitewalls are also well earned. ... Please ask for the full description.

Hudson always liked to be ahead of its time, and so the 1948 model's unibody cars meant this was the last year for the Big Boy trucks, and it also shut the door on Hudson pickups completely. So this is a true rarity that represents a bookend in Hudson history.

Trucks were basic machines during this era, but just since this shared many of the car's stampings, this interior also has some stylish appointments. The bench seat is tastefully done with striped cloth and a brown vinyl accenting, and the doors are done to match. Good carpeting and a well-done headliner complete a comfortable package. This one truly gets your nostalgia going everywhere from the classic Hudson steering wheel to the correct working heater. The full symmetrical setup of the dash makes this one of the best-looking classic trucks around. At its the center is one of the most artful AM radios ever made, so it's great to still have it for display.

The forward-tilt hood is just another great detail in such a distinct truck. And when you look inside, this has a tidy presentation of Hudson's 212 cubic-inch motor. This is an authentic package, right down to the generator and tall air grabber. So it fits perfectly with this pickup's overall impression. The inline motor is a smooth runner, and the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission gives you proper control. Plus, the independent front suspension is something few trucks (and even some cars) didn't have in '47.

This is one of the coolest classic pickups you're going to ever lays eyes on, and so it's amazing to also have such an affordable price. That's why you know you need to hurry on this deal. Call today!!!
