They even gave it a little extra pep with a Holley four-barrel carburetor. But white this was the same kind of setup you got in a Mustang, it's a quite different setup here. It utilizes its powerful and torquey heart in a more refined way. So no rumbling burnouts here, but you do get to be the first to pull away for the stoplight any time you want. In fact, good maintenance on what's believed to be the original motor keeps this a dignified luxury machine today. Plus, it has power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and a four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive.
