We all know Mopars are the rarest of Detroit's Big Three, and this 1968 Dodge Dart GT convertible really knows how to show off this distinction correctly. With slick paint, an attractive leather interior, and solid V8 power, it makes for a great all-around drop-top classic.
The Dart has always been the blocky-looking bad-boy. Because this is a convertible, those GT badges are legit. The bodywork on this one has remained straight and angular after all these decades. Of course, the quality has to do with proper care and investments. That's why we have receipts showing around $10k spent over the last dozen years keeping this one looking so good. The red paint has a vibrant style and a nice radiance you want on a sunshine-friendly convertible. And it's nicely presented, right down to the clean accent strip that runs along the body and wraps into the bumpers. Plus, the polished dual exhaust tips and American Racing Outlaw-style wheels look good on the car while hinting at the power within.
The white convertible top is stylish against the red exterior paint, and it powers down to reveal a very attractive white interior. In fact, the seats are done in an attractive and comfortable ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
In fact, the seats are done in an attractive and comfortable leather. Everything from the clean carpeting to good weather-stripping shows that this has the right fundamentals. Plus, you'll appreciate the nicely detailed vintage style including the proper GT badging on the door panels, matching convertible boot, and working AM radio. It also feels like a proper GT with a driver-oriented setup with front bucket seats, a center console in-between, and an upgraded auxiliary gauge trio cleanly installed under the dash.
The engine bay has a show-ready style with clean inner walls, finned Mopar valve covers, a matching air grabber, and an overall tidy style. At the center is Mopar's hardy 318 cubic-inch V8. It's upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, and long tube headers feeding into the dual exhaust. It's also supported by the right components, like a Flamethrower coil, Accel high temp wires, and an aluminum radiator. In fact, we have a receipt for over $3k from earlier this year documenting a mechanical refresh, right down to the bushings. If that sounds like the recipe for a strong cruiser, then you'll also be glad to see easy driving features, like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes with front discs.
The sale comes complete with build receipts and maintenance records. When you realize how rare, nice, and complete this convertible is, you'll be even more impressed with the affordable price. So we could tell you to hurry up and get this Dart GT, but you already know this drop-top going fast. Call today!!!
