Hardtop sedans are one of the coolest classics around. So when that's added to one of the most distinctive Chevy designs ever, and it also an awesome color combo inside and out, you soon realize this 1960 Chevrolet Impala Sport Sedan is one of the most interesting classics you can pick up right now.
Ermine White is a great color for GM fans. After all, the first Corvette only came in that color, and so it instantly lends its sporty style to this hardtop. There's nice look of quality here that's not only in the paint, but also in details like the clean Impala six taillight arrangement and all four doors close with confidence. While all the 1960 Chevys had wraparound front glass, only the hardtop sedans had wraparound rear glass, too. There's even a hint of overhang on the roof for added sporty style. This has terrific vintage details, like the bright chrome bumpers, fender skirts, and jet-age side trim that rockets up the side with a bold red inlay. But the piece we all marvel at the most is the trunk. The deeply dipping center channel that also forms the tailfins was one of the most daring looks ever put to sheetmetal.

Hardtop sedans are one of the coolest classics around. Where the exterior is white with a hint of red, the interior flips it around for a dominant red and white accenting. The two colors are masterfully interwoven on this stylish setup. You even have it as part of the houndstooth-style inserts in the seats and door panels! And the overall quality tells you there was a solid investment to restore this later in life. We especially like having this well-coordinated total color package inside and out, because on a hardtop, it's so easy for people to see it all. This is a full-sized sedan, and so there's plenty of room for family and friends. And if they are true classic fans, they'll love going for a ride. That because this one keeps its classic style, right down to the sporty round gauge package and AM transistor radio that's still there for display.
Under the hood is a 283 cubic-inch V8. This looks exceptionally correct - from the Chevy orange on the block to the generator - so it should be no surprise this is believed to be the original powerplant. Good care means it retains that hardy attitude that makes you love a Chevy small block, and the newer dual exhaust has a nice tune. Powerglide transmission is a smooth shifter, and that's joined by power steering and modern BG Goodrich T/As for an all-around great classic cruiser.
This is truly a distinct way to enjoy a true classic Chevy. So if you like to get attention at every stoplight, don't let this one slip away. Call today!!!
