The absolutely iconic lines of this 1955 Chevrolet 150 have been given a modern and powerful Pro Street makeover. After all, this has slick paint, an upgraded interior, and a performance appearance that screams there's a dual-quad big block under the hood. So it's the classic icon that will draw admirers from modern performance lovers.
This one instantly announces it's something special. After all, this Chevy was born in the age of pastels, but the blue seen here has a modern electric-level radiance. So you still get plenty of the iconic curves you live, and the bright paint to really show it all off. They updated the look with painted bumpers and custom pinstriping in place of some trim. It gives this an added hint of speedy style, and you won't miss the brightwork thanks to the chrome grille and polished Center Line racing wheels. In fact, the shine of those wheels draws attention to the extra-meaty Mickey Thompson tires in the back. And the custom cowl hood with the tall air grabber peeking out means that people know this is a beastly Chevy even before you turn the key and let it roar.
Your first impression of the full black interior might be more restomod than pro street. ... Please ask for the full description.

The absolutely iconic lines of this 1955 Chevrolet 150 have been given a modern and powerful Pro Street makeover. Your first impression of the full black interior might be more restomod than pro street. After all, it's quite stylish, and you have great upgrades, like cup holders, a center console, full door panels with armrest, and provisions for air conditioning (the compressor needs a belt and the system possibly needs servicing.) The high-back front bucket seats with headrests make for a more comfortable kind of car, but it's also what you want in a driver-focused pro street machine. You've got pro-level equipment like a B&M Quick Silver shifter, Grant GT steering wheel, and full upgraded gauges - including a large tach with shift light and other essentials that are on top of the dash so you don't have to take your eyes off the road. You even have an AM/FM with CD player hidden in the glove compartment (that will need servicing to work again).
The smooth blue inner walls of the engine bay do a terrific job of putting the tidy monster motor on display. This is a 454 cubic-inch V8 bored .60 over to 496ci total. The motor was installed around 2013. It includes two velocity stack air intakes that each feed an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. You also have a high-rise intake package, cast valve covers, steel braided lines, AN fittings, an MSD ignition, MSD high energy coil, an aluminum radiator, and a wicked set of headers feeding the side-exit dual exhaust. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is a stout unit built to handle big block muscle, and it sends the power to a 12-bolt rear end with a Trick Flow diff case. And traction bars and those wide tires help get the power to the pavement. There are even front disc brakes for added stopping power.
The sale comes complete with build receipts and restoration photos. This is the iconic Chevy that's built to own the streets. Don't let something this awesome slip away, call today!
