TRUE SO-CAL DISPLAY ROADSTR! 350 V8 CRATE W/ EFI, 700R4 AUTO, FRONT DISCS, SLICK

This 1932 Ford Roadster So-Cal Special has the look of an icon, and it also has the pedigree to back it up. Plus, with a steel body, leather interior, proper sports suspension, overdrive transmission, and fuel-injected ZZ430 motor, this is a stunner that knows how to get down the road.

If you're a true hot rod fan, then the So-Cal Speed Shop needs no introduction. The iconic red and white livery was a part of everything from the belly tank racers to the shop trucks. But it's the way a classic highboy roadster wears it that really seems to keep the legend going. This car is not a tribute; it is a real So-Cal Special. It was built at the So-Cal shop utilizing a Brookville steel body. It was kept as the promotional vehicle for the Arizona So-Cal shop. That means it needed to remain both glossy and detailed. So you'll love the hand-painted So-Cal logo, custom front badge, and genuine knock-off hubs on the polished wheels. And when you do find the occasional signs of some enjoyment, it usually came from major outings like going to New Zealand to take part in the 2013 Leadfoot Festival.

The interior continues with this car's legendary status. It is a supple leather package done by Ron ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

It is a supple leather package done by Ron Mangus. It's a thoughtful setup where the bench seat is well-contoured, and the door panels are expertly done to match. Even the carpet piping coordinates. This car was built to promote the Traditionalist line of components, and so you have a great classic style with the four-spoke steering wheel, tall Lokar shifter, and full Classic Instruments gauge package with So-Cal logos on the dials.

A true hot rod needs a powerful heart, and this one does not disappoint. They utilized a rare ZZ430 crate motor. It's a 350 cubic-inch V8, but the 430 in the name refers to the limited number produced and the horsepower it makes right out of the box. Plus, as a true speed shop build it has some great go-fast goodies, like FiTech fuel injection, aluminum heads, and Sanderson headers. It's also supported by quality pieces, like an MSD electronic ignition and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. But your favorite part to show off is likely going to be the firewall where it's signed by So-Cal founder Alex Xydias and former president (the late) Pete Chapouris. It fires up with the kind of eagerness you want in an FI machine, and the dual exhaust gives a good hot rod tune. The four-speed automatic transmission is the ideal pairing for better ratios when driving fast as well as offering overdrive for cruising comfort. This has all the best street machine pieces, like polished hairpins up front, ladder bars in the back, and a stout 9-inch rear end. There are even some great incognito pieces, like the polished hotrod shocks by Ridetech, and the front brakes made to look like classic finned drums.

Rarely do you get a chance at true So-Cal Special, and this one even gives you the best in modern power. So if you love both speed and showmanship, you know this award-worthy car is ready for you. Call today!!!
