VERY ATTRACTIVE! RUNS GREAT W/ A FRESHLY REBUILT 350 V8, AUTO, PS, PWR FR DISCS!

Before we had compact pickups, we had full-sized rigs like this 1970 Chevrolet C10 step-side. The closest thing to a sports truck at the time, it packed muscle car horsepower and heavy duty utility into a compact, attractive body that is so popular that automakers are still building step-sides today.

Finished in awesome Rally Red, this truck was repainted not too long ago and has a lovely sophisticated attitude. Short wheelbase, regular cab, with a step-side bed is perhaps the most attractive combination on an early pickup, combining the late-model 1970 cab with a very retro-appearing bed design that probably dates to the '50s. With bulging rear fenders and fat tires underneath, the truck has a sporty demeanor, an impression enhanced by the paint, the wheels, and the stance. All the factory-issued trim is in place, but this clean design didn't need a lot of dressing up, so they left it the way the stylists intended. It's not perfect, and it's not priced like a trailer queen, but the overall impression is that this is a truck you can drive regularly without worries and still get attention at the local cruise night. All the panels line up well, the doors fit properly, and the bed sports a ... Please ask for the full description.

All the panels line up well, the doors fit properly, and the bed sports a gorgeous wooden floor that simply glows against the bright red paint job.

Traditional black and white houndstooth cloth and leather upholstery duplicates the period look, but the upscale pattern on the seat helps soften the truck's blue-collar image. The dash has been painted to match the body and with padded houndstooth door panels, this truck offers a more upscale feel than it had when it was new. The gauges are arguably the most attractive factory dials ever created, and a billet steering wheel on a painted steering column definitely adds a sporty flair. A powerful Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo has been fitted into the original opening in the dash. Black carpets help control noise and heat and they're protected by heavy-duty rubber mats that seem just about right for a pickup.

The rumbling V8 under the hood is a freshly rebuilt 350 cubic inch Chevy that looks right at home in the C10's cavernous engine bay. Horsepower enhancement is compliments of an aluminum intake, 4 barrel carb, and an upgraded ignition to light the fires. Finished in authentic Chevy Orange against satin black inner fenders and firewall, it looks pretty correct and runs beautifully. It's not too far removed from stock, so you know it's both reliable and easy to repair, although the long-tube headers and throaty mufflers give it a distinctly high-performance sound. Underneath, it's clean and solid, and you might be surprised to see that even in 1970, the bed floor was still wood. The transmission is a TH350 3-speed automatic, so cruising is effortless and fuel economy is actually decent, while out back there's a rugged 12-bolt hanging on original coil springs. Chrome wheels with baby moon hubcaps add a lot of eye appeal and spin 255/60/15 BFGoodrich T/A radials all around.

Call this one a fun vintage truck that'll have no trouble finding a new home. We sell a lot of these, but not many are this nice. Call today!
