This 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible is a V8-powered classic drop-top with a vibrant style. And as you look over the full package, including the rare interior features, you'll soon realize the attraction of this pony car goes well beyond the value price.
It goes from some Mach 1 style flair with the full stripe package that includes the wide front one, the lower rockers, and the iconic hockey stick side stripe. And if you think all of this looks good against the exterior yellow, then you'll also appreciate the black convertible top. Even the American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are done in black for a well-coordinated two-tone feeling. The full package is not perfect. It very much falls in line with the kind of car that looks best when it's out driving. And for many of us, an ideal classic is one that doesn't make us nervous to drive and park downtown or at a popular cruise-in. And as you dig into the details, you can really see this is that kind of car that's made to be driven.
The back accenting continues inside on the carpeting, console, and dash. This is joined by a tasteful white on the side panels and seats. Not only do the inserts in the seats intertwine the two colors, but ... Please ask for the full description.

Not only do the inserts in the seats intertwine the two colors, but also they are done in a comfortable cloth - exactly what you want on an open-top convertible. So while you can find areas you may improve in the future, it also has the right style and features for driver fun from day one. This has some great features like an AM/FM/CD stereo w/aux input for upgraded driving tunes, and there are provisions for factory air conditioning (there's a new compressor, but it will need servicing to blow cold again.) Plus, this has the rare power windows option. It combines with the power top to mean you never have to leave the driver's seat to open this one up to the world. And getting behind the wheel is truly a command position with the full factory gauge package, including auxiliary readouts and a large tach.
Under the hood is proper Ford blue oval power. It's the mighty 351 cubic-inch V8. This was rebuilt later in life, and today it has nice features like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a newer distributor, and an aluminum radiator. It fires up readily as it makes a sweet tune out of the glasspack-style dual exhaust. And with a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and front discs, this is a great all-around cruising drop-top.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and maintenance records. Iconic appeal and some rare features really make this pony convertible irresistible. So if you want a great driver's classic, call today!
