A great complete and custom build of the car you always wanted to have. That's how you should view this 1972 Pontiac LeMans Convertible. With its performance-built 455 V8, custom interior, overdrive transmission, and four-wheel disc brakes, it has everything you want in a mean and slick drop-top muscle machine.
You can always tell when someone made a big investment in black paint. It looks like a dark mirror that showcases all the curves of the bodywork. It's never cheap to do, but it creates a stunner like this one. The intimidatingly sleek black style of this one immediately makes you think about a GTO. But those who know Pontiacs, also know there was no GTO convertible in 1972. But there was a drop-top with very similar packaging called the Le Mans Sport. It's a true ringer for a GTO when you give it the full blackout front end like this. Best of all, a code D67 car like this is rare: less than 3,500 were produced in '72. But getting the GTO's style right takes more than just the perfect paint. The quad exhaust tips and large color-matched rear spoiler add that aggressive attitude, too. And we love how they took a modern 18-inch torque thrust style wheel and gave them classic ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
And we love how they took a modern 18-inch torque thrust style wheel and gave them classic PMD center caps. It's all about how they upgraded this drop-top with a detailed eye.
The newer black roof both looks great and fits great. But this car gets even better when you power it down. The red interior makes this car look even more stylish and aggressive, especially with the clean and complete look this one has. You get all the best muscle car features like bucket seats, a center console, and a machined aluminum panel for the lower dash. Plus, more great factory features are still in place, like the AM/FM radio and cold-blowing air conditioning. There are even good details, like the red convertible boot and working courtesy lights. It's easy to slip behind the classic Pontiac sports steering wheel because it's now on a tilt column. The right gauges are in front of you as well as auxiliary ones below the dash. And of course, we are especially happy to see this one also retains Pontiac's iconic hood tach.
Under the hood is a tidy total presentation that includes a ton of new parts, like the alternator, belts, brake booster, and master cylinder. You'll proudly show this off because at the center is Pontiac's mighty 455 cubic-inch V8. It's upgraded with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and headers feeding an H-pipe dual exhaust. This is the kind of car that you'll want to drive everywhere, and so they made it easy to take anywhere with power steering, a tubular A-arm front suspension, Hotchkis sway bars front & rear, and an upgraded four-speed automatic transmission w/highway-friendly overdrive. There's even four-wheel power disc brakes w/drilled and slotted rotors for superior stopping power.
Complete with owner's manual, this package offers you big power and tons of charisma. It's the unique and upgraded drop-top classic you always hoped was out there...but it won't wait for long. Call today!!!
