UPGRADED #'S MATCH 400 V8, 3-SPEED AUTO, PWR BRAKES/STEER, FRONT DISCS, A/C, GR8

This 1968 Pontiac GTO has a mean all-black appearance. So it's a good thing the numbers-matching V8 was rebuilt for big power. And with more investments everywhere from the suspension to the bucket seat interior, you can see that this muscle car hardtop knows how to bring a full package to the streets.

The 1968 coupe is a special one for many of us. The first generation launched the muscle car era, but when the 2nd gen showed up in '68, it solidified the GTO's powerful presence. A wide track stance, dual hood scoops, and a terrific fastback look that makes this hardtop the idol of its era. And having it in black really does it right. This gives a more sinister look to the color-matched Endura front end, and the way the gloss highlights the curves of the fenders and profile lets everyone know it was a high-quality application. There are aggressive details everywhere you look, including darkly tinted windows, a full-width rear spoiler, large exhaust tips, and Rally II wheels. Plus, the red GTO lettering on the rear fenders makes this one look like it's out for blood.

The aggressively dark attitude continues inside. The color was upgraded later in life as part of this car's ... Please ask for the full description.

The color was upgraded later in life as part of this car's restoration, but they also kept an eye for the vintage. That makes for a stock but fresh feel to the upholstery, carpeting, headliner, and dash. So it's easy to show off this car's bold style. You have well-integrated features like provisions for air conditioning (blower will need servicing before this is functional again.) And while the Delco AM/FM radio is there for display, your real driving music comes from an AM/FM/CD player in the glovebox. But our favorite features are what make this such a great driver's car. You have a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, upgraded auxiliary gauges trio, and the dual-gate shifter in the center console. There's even a hood tach for a classic head-up display. And power windows mean you never have to leave the driver's seat any time you want to show off the cool pillarless hardtop profile.

It wouldn't be a '68 GTO without the big 400 cubic-inch V8 under the hood. This is the numbers-matching block, but you can easily see that this tidy setup was upgraded for better all-around performance. This has been built with Edelbrock aluminum heads, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, Hooker long tube headers that add even more power while also contributing to the rumble of the H-pipe dual exhaust. A quality build like this also has the right supporting components, including an MSD ignition system, a new battery, and an aluminum radiator. As you look underneath the car you'll see a clean and fresh setup that gives you confidence when driving. Plus, the rear end has been fully upgraded with stronger arms, Tokico Shocks, and a sway bar. It's a well-built package made to be enjoyed. That's why you also have easy cruising features like the TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and front discs.

Dark, powerful, and thoughtfully upgraded - this is the real-deal GTO that loves to be a true muscle machine. Call today!!!
