This 1982 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler is a seriously fresh build of a seriously mean off-road machine. The stroker V8, four-wheel disc brakes, overdrive transmission, and rugged suspension components make this an awesome 4x4. But as you dig deeper, you're going to find plenty of cool and thoughtful features that makes this Scrambler an all-around stunner.

There's no mistaking this one for anything direct from the factory. The Metalcloak fenders are the kind of professional-grade pieces that make sure the suspension gets all the travel it wants. Poison Spyder bumpers, large tow hooks, Metalcloak side guards, large 20-inch MotoMetal wheels, and a Smittybilt X20 12k lbs winch w/synthetic rope are all about a very serious total package. But also take a moment to see the beauty in all this brawn. There's only about 1,200 miles on this build, and so everything looks quite fresh. The sliver paint has plenty of metallic element to really radiate in the great outdoors (after all, that's where this Jeep really belongs.) And the fully coordinated black package looks great against the paint. The darkness is not only on all those beefy components we listed earlier, but also some nice comfort upgrades. Pieces like the AMP power steps and the blackout-style LED headlights are the kind of features that are both helpful and the kind of details that makes others jealous.

Because a proper Jeep is made to be out in nature, the interior keeps plenty of black to go with the exterior trim. It's not only fresh, but they made sure it was absolutely rugged. That's why you have liner paint on the floor, a powder-coated roll bar, and new Bestop seats. And speaking of those seats, you not only get nicely bolstered buckets up front, but also a handy rear set, too. Because this is a thoughtful build, there are a ton of terrific features, including a black bikini top, a locking rear storage tool drawer, and a locking center console that currently secures the AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth. You even have the major components installed for R134a air conditioning (will need some servicing before blowing cold.) There's a Lokar shifter, Grant GT sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and a full gauge package in the custom dash that features a large speedo and tach.

With a Jeep that looks so fresh and beefy so far, you expect the engine bay to continue this feeling. That's why you've been upgraded to a 383 cubic-inch stroker V8. This is built with all the right supporting components, including Painless wiring, serpentine belts, and an aluminum radiator w/electric fans. Plus, you get extra power thanks to performance upgrades, like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and Sanderson coated headers that feed the Flowmaster dual exhaust. This fresh and capable these extends to the suspension where you have narrowed Dana 60 Axles, custom lift kit, Bilstein shocks, JKS sway bar disconnects, high steering arms, and stout Nitto diff covers. And the Toyo Open Country tires make sure this 4x4 is a true go-anywhere machine. But even those times you're just running through town, features like four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes are quite handy, too.

This Jeep may look mean, and have serious capability, but it's also such a thoroughly complete build that it makes for a surprisingly easy to enjoy machine. So if you want all eyes on you no matter if you're on or off-road, call today!
