The 1969 Buick Riviera was a true star at General Motors. This was the only personal luxury E-body cruiser with rear-wheel drive, and this had some of the best flowing lines of any car around. Plus, this example has an enhanced version of the big V8 to really make a powerful statement where it goes.

The 1969 coupe was a great design that kept familiar cues from the iconic '65 Riviera, including hidden headlights and a sporty rear fender kick-up in the profile. But now this second-generation coupe had a larger and more unique presence. The lines seemed to stress both performance and elegance all at once. There are even nice details, like the pinstriping and Rallye wheels. So while you may decide to use the value price to invest in upgrades or repaint it in a favorite color, it's also great to find this already such a clean and complete coupe.

The black pinstripe is also a preview of the full black interior. You have a very survivor-style kind of presentation with just the right integrated upgrades. That means cool vintage details, like correctly trimmed seats, plenty of wood-like trim, and special Riviera badging. But what really makes this a desirable package are all the great ...

But what really makes this a desirable package are all the great cruiser features. You have an upgraded AM/FM digital tune w/cassette, and there are provisions for factory air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) The dual-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column to give you a good view of the factory gauges.
And below the dash are new digital readouts to keep a full eye on what's going on under the hood.

Buick's 430 cubic-inch V8 debuted for this generation Riviera, and it became legendary for its massive torque production. And while the bold red block and factory valve covers make this look stock, we invite you to dig a little deeper. This is a nicely upgraded powerhouse with aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake, and topped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor. And a nice set of wrapped heads add even more power while contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. There are even good supporting components like a Flamethrower distributor and an aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans. The enhanced power package fires up readily and it's eager to hit the road. While you certainly have a muscle car kind of force, this Riviera can also cruise like a proper Buick. That's why you have a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and an added rear sway bar.

Complete with owner's manual, this is a big style and big power... and the best part is it's budget-priced. Call today!!!
