There's nothing like having a unique V8 classic, and it's even more fun when it's a standout in the already uncommon Mopar crowd. So this burning 1974 Plymouth Duster and all its upgrades provides a truly memorable classic coupe.

Dusters always have a heightened desirability that comes from aggressive design. They carry an aggressive fastback kind of profile, and the big blocky front end looks like it wants to push traffic out of the way. But what really grabs your attention on this one is how they took these classic lines and gave them even more attitude. After all, you can't miss the full custom paint package that has custom frames consuming the front end and burning down the profile. It's all highlighted further by red pinstriping that's a dividing line to the slick black paint that underlines it all. It's such a great color package that the bumpers are painted to match. The darkness continues inside with the full black interior. But where the exterior gives the impression of a mean machine, the interior wants to be more comfortable. That's why you have a smooth dash, nice carpeting, and the high-back split bench seat has comfy cloth inserts. Plus, this has upgrades you'll enjoy, like cup holders and an AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input. There are even provisions for factory air conditioning (it will likely need a recharge to blow ideally cold again.) And the steering wheel has been upgraded to a Grant GT sports unit to give you a commanding grip on this coupe.

Mopar's 318 cubic-inch V8 is a longstanding hardy powerhouse, and so it's great to see it under the hood. They love upgrading, and they gave this one all the right investments. There's extra flair from the polished Edelbrock valve covers and matching air grabber. Plus, there's extra power with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Weiand aluminum intake, and a set of long tube headers that add both power and rumble to the newer dual exhaust. This one was built to be a driver, and so you have a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and newer shocks.
