For example, the factory brake warning light in the center of the dash is now actually a handier oil pressure warning light. The auxiliary gauge trio has been expertly integrated into the dash, and they are VDO readouts to match the VW factory gauge brand. And the Grant sports steering wheel, performance shifter, and Sunpro tach all work together to elevate the driving fun.

You can instantly see this one has been upgraded in the engine bay by the unmistakable look of the dual carb setup that really gives these Beetles some extra legs. Plus, this is a larger 1641cc motor with 87mm pistons and desirable dual port heads. It's a fully rebuilt setup as part of this car's restoration, and so you get a strong and extra powerful VW motor that still provides that iconic air-cooled hum. Even the four-speed manual transmission was completely rebuilt during restoration, so you have a smooth action to go with your upgraded power.
