This 1953 Ford F-100 pickup is one of those vehicles that would be a bargain even at twice the price. A spectacular frame-off build, it is expertly finished to a very high standard and runs with Ford power under the hood. Built to collect trophies, it's also wonderful to drive with lots of hidden goodies, and the fact that it has such a reasonable price tag makes it is absolutely amazing in every way.
We never use words like perfect or flawless, but you could spend a lot of time poring over the beautiful Silver Pine Mica paint (a 2008 Toyota Avalon color, by the way) and not find any notable blemishes or evidence of use. That sheetmetal is expertly finished, super smooth, and with excellent gaps that can only come from long hours of tedious fitting and adjusting, and while there are a few modifications like shaved emblems and a tailgate from a 1950 F-100, it has that stand-up old school look that makes these trucks so popular. The cab was restored on a rotisserie and has four new corners, while the bed is new, including the wonderfully warm oak slats on the floor. All the chrome was either replaced or fully restored to show standards, and even the plain bumpers have an alluring ... Please ask for the full description.

All the chrome was either replaced or fully restored to show standards, and even the plain bumpers have an alluring sparkle.
The comfortable tan leather interior has an OEM-level of fit and finish that you just don't expect in affordable rods. The seats and center armrest are from a 2003 Buick, meaning that they're comfortable, supportive, and have built-in 3-point seat belts for safety. Custom door panels were specially created to work with the seats and plus tan carpets on the floor mean things stay quiet and comfortable when you're on the road. The original instrument panel was smoothed and painted to match the body, with a chrome insert full of retro-styled gauges with soft cream-colored faces. Of course, a truck like this has all the modern conveniences, including A/C (with R134a refrigerant inside), an overhead CD stereo system, and a tilt steering column with a wheel that looks right for a pickup truck. Custom-fitted floor mats, acres of sound-deadening materials, and tinted windows are just some of the thoughtful touches that make this truck so special.
Power comes from a police-spec 302 cubic inch Ford V8 which was fully rebuilt and upgraded with a mild cam, Edelbrock carb, and exhaust headers, so it has plenty of punch. The engine bay is ultra-sanitary with plenty of chrome and polished aluminum and careful routing of the lines and hoses to keep them out of sight. The suspension is comprised of a Mustang II front setup with tubular A-arms and rack-and-pinion steering and a Chevy 10-bolt out back hanging on fresh leaf springs. A C4 3-speed automatic transmission swaps the gears and a custom Magnaflow exhaust system gives it an awesome performance bark. Everything is highly detailed, shiny, polished, and painted to look its best, making this a truck that needs no excuses on the show field or out on the road. Right-sized billet wheels fill those fat fenders using 235/55/17 Nexen performance radials.
Look at the details, the quality, and the components that went into this build and then think about how much time and effort it required to make it look this pretty. All that for less than $50,000? You need to call right now!
