The new Jeep Gladiator has re-ignited the love for the classic Jeep CJ8 Scrambler. This example was not only restored to give you true creature comforts, like air conditioning, but also as a true restomod, it delivers something you can't even get on a new Gladiator: fuel-injected V8 power.

The CJ8 Scrambler has the unmistakable look of a classic Jeep with the iconic grille, removable panels, and go-anywhere stance. Not only does this 350 cubic-inch motor look like it belonged here since day one, but also they made sure to give it all the right upgrades. That means a FAST electronic fuel-injection system, Edelbrock intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. Plus, there are the right supporting components, too, like the serpentine belt system, HEI ignition, and an aluminum radiator. It fires up nicely, like a proper FI machine should, and the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The upgraded V8 power is nice for off-road work, especially when combined with the two-speed 4x4 transfer case, tall stance, and BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires. But as you look at the ultra-clean undercarriage, you can see this one hasn't spent much time getting dirty since its restoration. And features like power steering and power brakes w/discs up front reaffirm this one is fine living the everyday life.
