This 1966 Ford Mustang GT Convertible is an ultra-desirable A-code car with thousands $$$$ invested within the last year to make sure that you get all the best features in this quite-correct GT droptop.
Wimbledon White is a true icon of the Mustang scene, and so they made sure to have a professional hand re-apply this factory-correct color in 2018. But while this brilliant white would give a convertible a sunny disposition, this does it one better with a hint of sinister sports car attitude courtesy of the GT package elements. After all, the black triple stripe on the rocker panels that sit between the 14-inch stylized steel wheels have a profile that's more aggressive than most of the other '66s you'll come across. The black vinyl roof is a great coordinating piece to this car's aggressive dark side, and this was replaced in 2018 so it can look as crisp as the paint. We all know there are plenty of GT-specific elements you need to get it looking right. This one has the fog lights in the grille, GT emblems on the fenders, and dual trumpet exhaust pipes coming through the rear valence. And it also has true style in all the details – from the form-fitting chrome bumpers to the luggage ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
And it also has true style in all the details – from the form-fitting chrome bumpers to the luggage rack on the rear.
With the flip of a switch, the black roof power s down to reveal a full black interior. So you get the well-coordinated look of this car with the top up or down. And while this car was born with this stellar color combo, you can also see plenty of benefits from top-quality investments. The restored bucket seats have the proper iconic "pony" package. You have all the best classic elements, like the wood & chrome steering wheel and the ultra-desirable tach and clock of the Rally Pac. Plus, they added subtle upgrades to keep this a fantastic cruiser. It includes a cup holder center console that can be removed at any time. Plus, a newer AM/FM/cassette stereo head unit fits neatly in the original radio's location, and it provides a nice complement to the bright trim around the car.
Under the hood is a terrific presentation. This was born an A-code car, so you get a correct 289 cubic-inch V8 with a correct four-barrel carburetor on top. It has an exceptionally fresh look with the glossy Ford blue on the block, valve covers, and air topper. And there are great details everywhere from the callout decals to the washer fluid bag. This droptop icon feels smooth on the road, and you're going to love the sound this V8 makes out of the glasspack-style dual exhaust. And because this is a convertible you're going to love to drive, it has the right features, like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, modern Hankook tires, and front disc brakes.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual and plenty of receipts document the recent investment in this cool Mustang GT. So if you want a truly iconic convertible that's ready to run right now, don't let this pony car slip away. Call today!!!
