STROKED 468CI BIG BLOCK, TH400, A/C, ADJUSTABLE COILOVERS, FOUR WHEEL DISCS, WOW

Pro Touring means taking a classic look you love and investing heavily, so that the exterior, interior, engine, and suspension are all part of a performance and comfort package that leaves you wanting for nothing. So dig deep into how this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle earns its Pro Touring title with the ultra-slick build that offers a fresh A/C interior, big suspension upgrades, four-wheel discs brakes, a huge big block V8, and so much more.

The '66 Chevelle is a mixture of intimidation and sophistication. The crisp hint of a front overhang, SS-style hood vents, and the extra curve of the profile from the flared fenders make this instantly aggressive. But there are also great stylistic touches, like the flying buttress rear pillars on the hardtop silhouette. It's this mixture of speed and style that make this the ideal classic to invest heavily for a Pro Touring machine. The Dark Toreador Red sets the tone nicely as it has the boldness you want in a muscle car, but with a deeper and more sophisticated tone. There's a nice metallic glow to the paint, and so it does an excellent job of showcasing the attention paid to the lines and gaps of the sheetmetal. And rivaling the shine is a solid ...

And rivaling the shine is a solid investment in all the brightwork, including the full trim, ribbed rocker panels, and mirror-like chrome bumpers. And those Weld forged alloys finish off the package nicely as they give you a classic name with modern style - just like this whole custom-built Chevelle does!

The black interior looks great against the deep red exterior. Plus, they took plenty of time to pay attention to classic details here. So you get insignia trim seats, buckets up front, and a center console in-between with working clock. Everything from the carpeting to the door panels matches this in dark color and freshness for a great classic car experience. And to make sure you can enjoy a vintage interior in modern times, you have well-integrated upgrades. It includes the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with aux input and cold-blowing modern R134a air conditioning. And of course, as a Pro Touring car, this was upgraded to be a driver's machine. That's why the grippry black and chrome sports steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column. It gives you a clear view to not only the nice factory-style readouts, like the tach, but also the full auxiliary gauge trio.

The engine bay continues this coupe's strength and style packaging. You have a tidy look with a smooth painted firewall, bold block, shining ribbed valve covers, and a matching air topper. But what you'll really love is the substance beyond the style. The 454 cubic-inch big block was larger than what Chevy offered in '66, and that's just the beginning of the performance upgrade. It was stroked to a massive 468ci total and given go-fast goodies like Edelbrock aluminum heads, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer 2.0 intake, and long tube headers that feed the Flowmaster dual exhaust. Plus, you have terrific supporting components that include an MSD ignition and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. It's a strong running package, and that's because this coupe was meant to enjoy on the road. You have a fresh suspension full of upgrades like tubular control arms up front, QA1 adjustable coilovers, sway bars front & rear, and Wilwood drilled & slotted four-wheel discs brakes. Add in power steering and a three-speed automatic transmission, and you can see why a Pro Touring car is great for everything from performance driving to easy cruising.

Speed, style, and comfort come together in one custom package. So if you like the best of everything, don't miss this hardtop. Call today!!!
