351 WINDSOR V8, 5-SPEED, PWR BRAKES/STEER, FRONT DISCS, SLICK COLOR COMBO, CLEAN

While this 1961 Ford Falcon has the great classic style you love on the outside, there is a beast lurking within. With a 351ci V8, five-speed transmission, upgraded suspension, and bucket seat interior, you have a vintage Ford that's also built to be a powerful driver.

These early Ford Falcons really had style. You see it in the way the hood and front fenders curve down into the front end. The sides have full-length creases that add substance to this compact car's looks. And the power bulge in the hoods and afterburner-style taillights give this some sporty style. So it's no wonder this was chosen for a power package upgrade. And while we'll get to the details about how this is a muscle machine, there's also some classic style to note. It has great classic American details like form-hugging chrome bumpers, and the burgundy paint gives you a vividness similar to red but with deeper tones. It makes for an attractive look without taking away from the overall attitude of a car built for real driving.

The black interior looks good against the deep red exterior, and the burgundy on the dash and door tops prove it. There have been some more recent investments inside with nice ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

There have been some more recent investments inside with nice upholstery and carpeting. But what you'll really like most is how this one has been built to be a better driver's machine. That means bucket seats up front, a Grant sports steering wheel, polished tilt column, and a VDO auxiliary readout trio. Plus, the upgraded tach goes quite well with the Hurst Indy shifter. So while this has an upgraded AM/FM digital tuner stereo, you can really tell that your favorite soundtrack is going to start under the hood.

The engine bay has the unmistakable look of upgraded power. After all, you couldn't even get V8 power in a '61 Falcon, and this 351 cubic-inch V8 is larger than anything the Falcons of the 1960s ever had. It's also supported by the right pieces, like an upgraded distributor and an aluminum radiator. More than just the added displacement, it inhales deeply thanks to a four-barrel carburetor, and headers add even more power as it exhales through the rumbling of dual exhaust. There are even the right components to take advantage of the extra power. The five-speed manual transmission puts the motor's control firmly in your hands. And there are traction bars on the rear to help get the power to the pavement. Plus, there's an upgraded front suspension, power steering, power brakes, and front discs.

This takes the Falcon's lightweight setup we love and maximizes it for power and control. That makes for a terrific custom, especially at this price. Call today!!!
