This 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am has a very cool red-on-red appearance that is too bold not to love. And as you dig deeper to see the T-tops, A/C interior, V8 power, and more, you'll soon realize that this has everything you want, including an affordable price.

The second-generation Trans Am was a seriously intimidating package. The wide ground effects in front of the wheel wells, integrated rear spoiler, and shaker hood all gives this a real presence on the streets. And when the dent-resistant Endura front end is as complete as this one, it's not only a dead giveaway to some serious care, but also it gives the Firebird T/A an aggressive beak that perfectly complements the famous "screaming chicken" on the hood. It only gets better as the whole car looks like it's breathing fire thanks to the bright red paintwork. The code-75 Mayan Red is believed to have been given a quality respray later in life. It's the kind of boldness that helps grab attention away from the black Smokey and the Bandit replicas. Plus, while most other '79s are on Snowflake alloys, this one has some Super Duty-style flair with the Rally II wheels.

The fiery red attitude continues on the interior with the high-back cloth bucket seats, door panels, carpeting, center console, and even the steering wheel are all coordinating with this aggressive tone. And in this sea of crimson, the iconic machined metal inlay that covers the whole dash panel really stands out. Inside of that is a full gauge package, including Pontiac's cool tach/clock combo. Plus, this Pontiac has a ton more of great features, like power windows, a tilt steering column, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo. Of course, we didn't forget about the T-tops. It's one of the most desirable interior options from the '70s. Not only does this one have them (and the original storage bags,) but also thanks to factory air conditioning, you can take them out any time of the year and stay cool.

The 403 cubic-inch V8 has an exceptionally honest presentation, right down to the factory decals and the light blue block color you can see below the correct snorkel intake. And as you dig deeper, the hoses, compressor, alternator, belts, and more show signs of a good eye on maintenance. The V8 inhales through four-barrel carburetor living under that hood shaker, and an upgrade to long tube headers and a newer stainless dual exhaust means it exhales with power and a sweeter rumble. Power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, sway bars front & rear, the numbers-matching three-speed automatic transmission complete a package that delivers an easy to enjoy classic car experience.

This is the T-top T/A with all the features you're going to love. So don't let it go into someone else's garage. Call today!!!
