With big block power, four-wheel disc brakes, a plush A/C interior, and a seriously sinister midnight appearance, this 1947 Ford Coupe is a full custom build that looks mean...but it's oh so nice to get enjoy on the blacktop.
The sinister black paint obviously sets this machine apart, but first take a moment to look at all the custom work done before the first drop was sprayed on. The bumpers were expertly deleted for a smooth style while the headlights, taillights, upgraded third brake light, and license plate were frenched. The monotone look eliminated most of the brightwork and deleted the trim. So that single bright line running the full length of each side looks like a lightning bolt in the night sky. And there's more great classic details to see everywhere from the slotted Mag wheels to the pinstriping on the trunk. So when the consignor states there's over $50k in the build, you can really see it was worth every penny.
Inside, you know this is has been fully customized once you take one look at the seats. Those front buckets are not only covered in a comfortable tan tweed, but you can see a plushness that no '40s car could match. And as you look closer, you'll actually see ... Please ask for the full description.

Inside, you know this is has been fully customized once you take one look at the seats. Those front buckets are not only covered in a comfortable tan tweed, but you can see a plushness that no '40s car could match. And as you look closer, you'll actually see the kind of power adjustments that would make a new car jealous! There are more great features, like power windows, an AM/FM/cassette radio, tilt wheel with swing-away function, cruise control, and cold-blowing air conditioning. And it's all well-integrated into this thoughtfully done interior. More than just comfortable, this is a driver's machine with a Lecarra sports steering wheel, and beyond that is a full set of VDO gauges with large speedo and tach. It's all there to remind you there's something special under the hood, too.
The engine bay is filled with big block power. It makes a great first impression thanks to plenty of shine on the valve covers, air topper, and alternator. But we know what you really love is the substance behind the style. It's a 427 cubic-inch V8 that inhales deeply with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with authority out of the glasspack-style dual exhaust. This is all part of a total package built to balance power and comfort. For example, the TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is built to handle the muscle that this coupe is putting on the road, and it also is good for automatic cruising. Plus, you have power steering and the superior stopping power of four-wheel power disc brakes.
This is an impressive total package that combines power, comfort, and a serious custom attitude. And when you can get it all for such a nice price, then you need to hurry before it slips away. Call today!!!
