If you've been looking for a rugged, go-anywhere, square-jawed truck with all the goodies, you've just found one of the best. This 1987 Chevy K10 4x4 has been extensively reworked and beautifully refinished in gorgeous two-tone paint scheme. There's plenty of power, heavy-duty off-road gear underneath, and a comfortable interior full of all the luxury features, you can't buy more truck for your dollar than this.
Nearly 30 years later, these trucks STILL look fantastic. Forget aerodynamics for a moment, and take a good look at the angles on this truck, which was designed to work for a living, not sip gas. Always a clean, southern machine, it sports laser-straight body panels that were refinished two years ago using two-stage urethane that looks about a mile deep. The black-over-red paint isn't anywhere close to this truck's original color, but it has a glow to it that production paint just can't match and there's no question that it's something special. Look closely and you'll also notice the 24 carat gold pinstripe that beautifully breaks up the red and black two-tone finish. Up front, the grille remains in excellent condition, as do the original bumpers, which shine up nicely and look ... Please ask for the full description.

If you've been looking for a rugged, go-anywhere, square-jawed truck with all the goodies, you've just found one of the best. This 1987 Chevy K10 4x4 has been extensively reworked and beautifully refinished in gorgeous two-tone paint scheme. Up front, the grille remains in excellent condition, as do the original bumpers, which shine up nicely and look great against the trick paint. A big chrome roll bar in the bed looks butch and carries enough auxiliary lighting for a football stadium, and the condition of the bed floor suggests that this truck never really worked for a living. It's just incredibly clean all around.
The factory bench seat remains in place but is now wrapped in very trick ostrich skin leather for a custom look, and the door panels and headliner were custom stitched to match. Aside from some very, very minor signs of use, the upholstery remains excellent, with no rips or tears, and new black carpets and a matching dash pad have just recently been installed. The gauges are original, surrounded by a brushed stainless fascia that works well with the monochromatic interior. Luxury options include factory A/C, a tilt wheel, and power steering and brakes, which are much appreciated with those massive tires. There's also a new AM/FM/CD stereo head unit with a pair of speakers in the door panels, and it really fills the cab with sound.
The engine is a 350 cubic inch crate motor with a ton of horsepower-building parts. Edelbrock supplied the dress-up, while Holley supplied the carburetor and Flowmaster makes it sound nasty. Virtually everything under the hood is new, from the brake system to the modern A/C compressor, which has been converted to R134a refrigerant for easy service. A heavy-duty TH400 3-speed automatic transmission was installed during the build, and is up to all the punishment you can dish out. Underneath, the chassis is solid, augmented by a 6-inch lift that gives this truck a towering presence over the other cars on the road. New axles at both ends were borrowed from a ¾-ton pickup, so they can handle the rigors of off-roading without complaint. Massive 325/60/20 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires are wrapped around a set of handsome Weld forged aluminum wheels for an awesome custom look.
This cool off-roader is ready to hit the trails or the shows where it will perform equally well. Call today!
