This 1968 Ford Mustang is does it right. It offers a distinct color package, V8 power, and the right extras – including an air-conditioned interior. Best of all, is it does it for such a nice price.
Originally an Acapulco Blue coupe, this one has been given a respray in a darker share to give it even more of a deep blue ocean vibe. While the finish is not perfect, this first-generation Mustang retains plenty of its correct flair. That's why the original bumpers and taillight bezels continue to have a nice shine. And the body panels retain their crispness so you can see the deep channeled profile that makes the '68 a standout. In fact, this was also one of the few years of the sought-after Deluxe hood. Plus, this one has some nice subtle speedy upgrades like the hood pins and 14-inch slotted alloys.
Inside, the festival of blue continues. It even includes the exterior paint returning on the door panels and lower dash for a well-coordinated package. Inside, the festival of blue continues. It even includes the exterior paint returning on the door panels and lower dash for a well-coordinated package. There are nice period-correct premium features like the center console and deluxe steering wheel. Even the trunk has a full-size spare on a GT-style wheel. Plus, there are nicely integrated upgrades like the high-back bucket seats, dual auxiliary gauges, and a retro-style AM/FM/cassette stereo with digital tuner. These help make this a terrific cruising classic. And since the air conditioning is blowing cold with modern R134a, you can enjoy the drive all-year long.
Under the hood the bold blue block, valve covers, and air topper that all look great against the rest of this total blue package. The whole engine bay looks tidy and particularly well maintained. And while the total package looks stock, this pony has extra gallop. It's been upgraded to a 302 cubic-inch V8, and there was even added an Edelbrock intake and a nice dual exhaust. A total package like this was meant to be driven, and that's why you also have great features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes.
Complete with maintenance records, this is the iconic classic that's optioned nicely and priced right. So while this car has plenty of blue, the only way it can make you feel blue is if you miss out on this deal. Call today!!!
