CLEAN & SOLID 54 HARD TOP, CLASSY COLOR COMBO, 235 BLUE FLAME I6, AUTO, RUNS GR8
Everyone loves to stand out, and you know that's exactly what this 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe guarantees. You'll hear, "Wow! I haven't seen that in forever!" no matter if you take this classic for a drive on a car show lawn, or simply on a leisurely Saturday drive for ice cream.
You immediately notice the roof on this Chevy. They produced less than half as many of these pillarless Sport Coupe models as they did the standard two-door. It really complements the sleek roofline, and points the way for the sporty Impalas and Chevelles of the future. The white paint is a great color to standout while still fitting with both the '50s and today. Plus, the black streak within the rear fender trim gives this an elegant undertone while also coordinating with the custom details. It starts with the custom black pinstriping that highlights the smooth hood and frenched headlights. Out back the pinstriping once again replaces the badging for a cool custom look, and even the taillights were darkened for that added touch of detail. And while some of the brightwork trim was removed on this coupe, its effect was to really draw attention to the best features that were all retained. This includes, the wraparound chrome bumpers, toothy grille, full trim package that highlights the special hardtop roof. You even get the correct wheel covers that have a white inset to coordinate with the paint and those beautiful whitewalls.
Inside the black and white theme continues, and so the whole classic has the dignity of a tuxedo. It especially looks nice how the textured white inserts of the seats are continued on the door panels. Plus, there are plenty of nice brightwork details on the dash, door panels, and even around the auxiliary gauges so that they fit into this time capsule nicely. The steering wheel is stylish and still gives you a clear view of the large speedometer and other factory readouts. The overall result is simple elegance.
Open up the hood and see a great American workhorse. Chevrolet only had one engine choice this year to rely on for everything from the Corvette to its pickup trucks. The 235 cubic-inch, Blue Flame six-cylinder motor provided reliable power and good torque to keep these chrome machines cruising down the road. It shows quite nice with the bold blue block and a hint of extra power from the dual carb setup. This was built to be a true cruiser, and so you not only have a Powerglide automatic transmission, but you'll also spot nice upgrades like the newer stainless exhaust, newer gas tank, and an alternator.
Here's a distinct classic with distinct features, and yet it retains its originality in all the right places. So a Bel Air like this is already attractive before you check out the value price. Don't miss this deal. Call today!!!
