Looking like pure horsepower on wheels, this 1926 Ford coupe makes the iconic Model T almost unrecognizable with its slick appearance, upgraded suspension, and serious V8 power under the hood. So be prepared to make a scene upon arrival.
If you're going to build a rod, you may as well make it attention-grabbing. The Model T was famous for being black, but the slick shine on this one instantly announces it as something special the moment the sunlight hits the original steel body. Plus, the bright red pinstripe radiates extra confidence from the cool coupe. This is genuine Henry Ford steel, and this hot rod respects that history with classic elements like the vinyl roof, windshield sunshade, and the overall upright appearance that reminds you that beneath all of the hot rod investments is still the car that put America on wheels. But this is far from a stock vehicle. Features like the contoured fiberglass fenders (only body panel not steel), bright chromed front end, and alloy wheels on aggressively staggered tires all respect the hot rod era that made these Fords icons all over again.

Inside is the same hot rod style upgrades while still respecting its history. That's why you have a bench seat, but now it's custom contoured for superior comfort. There's a cool wood and chrome steering wheel mounted on a chrome tilt column. And beyond that is a full set of Dolphin gauges. But with the readouts set prominently in the middle and the way the windshield still opens for ventilation gives you a very classic feeling in this very classic Ford.
Because this is a true street machine, the original Ford powerplant has been traded for a custom Chevy V8 that's ready to show off. The bright air topper, alternator, valve covers, and so much more means you'll happily slide open the hood at car shows. Of course, you have to get off the streets long enough to show this one off. That's going to be difficult, because this 350 cubic-inch V8 is a ton of fun. It inhales deeply through an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and the ceramic coated headers add even more power as they contribute to the sweet rumble of the newer stainless dual exhaust. And don't forget to check out the undercarriage where you'll spot the suspension upgrades like the Lucky Seven four-bar chrome front end and the ladder bar rear with adjustable coilovers. You'll even see the custom rear diff cover that reminds you this coupe is called the Black Widow. And three-speed automatic and front disc brakes make this a great all-around cruiser, too.
This might be a 92-year-old coupe, but it's been cared for by the same owner since 1982. So you know this custom is a labor of love. That's the kind cool classic we all want, so don't miss your chance. Call today!!!
